Mitsouko, or ‘mystery.’ Inspired by the tragic love story of Mitsouko, the heroine of Claude Farrère’s La Bataille, Jacques Guerlain paired the fruity, velvety spiciness of peach with the woody scent of patchouli for the first time. A daring combination, touched with the taste of a forbidden fruit.
For the first time? That reminded the Chanel no. 5 (1921) video...
Guerlain is saying subliminally Chanel was inspired by Mitsouko (1919).
But it is not important...
The important is Guerlain is the best house of perfume in the world.
My great-grandmother remembered Mitsouko through her quite long life and she must have liked them very much but after youth when she was using this Perfume so in after 1919 year time till when times changed in way that she could only recall them in memory. Am grateful to Guerlain that after more than 100 years this Fragrance is still here and can experience this composition of scents as my great-grandmother in times of Jacques Guerlain!
Derby was also a legendary Fragrance🏆but has been shamelessly discontinued by Guerlain 👎🤔

I love Mitsouko but why is the new label so sad craft project. The bottle design is nice but deserves a worthy label unique to Mitsouko. It’s same for EDT and EDP and crazy that Nahema has same label too. How am I supposed to tell them apart 😢.
