- My first video was launched on April 7th, 2018 and it's been a wild 5 year ride. Here's a look at how I ended up where I am now, and the thought process behind everything that went into the channel up to this point.

Your channel has been my go-to for learning about coasters and theme parks. I was (unknowingly) a huge coaster enthusiast as a kid when I didn't have the ability to travel. Various life circumstances made me shelve that enthusiasm for nearly a decade. This year, I rode my first new coaster in five years. I'm planning trips to Carowinds, Dollywood, and Holiday World, and I am ambitiously trying to take my credit count from 18 to 50 before the end of 2023. Your videos helped re-start my coaster enthusiasm, and I'm very grateful that I stumbled upon your almost-five-year-old channel back in November. Thank you for all of the fun, entertaining, and informative videos.

I started watching your channel in April 2020. Your videos helped me get me through that awful pandemic. They also got me to realize how much I was missing being obese since I couldn't ride anymore. Time has flew by. Your channel was one of the first that got me reinvested in coasters in 2018. The way that intro played into the video always got me hyped and still does.

I discovered your channel in 2020 during the shutdown due to the pandemic. Watching your videos helped me get through a lot of those tough days when no sports were playing or anything was happening. You helped me rediscover my love for coasters and the industry as a whole. Now, most of my trips and vacations are centered around what parks I can get to. definition of Passion-A strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or doing something. Roller coasters + amusement/themed park visits are but one on many of my passions. I also do/did photography, videography, storytelling. An artist oft times "suffers" for their work. Some of what I felt was my BEST writing got little to NO responses. I truly LOVE your channel! The fact that you respond to my comments means a LOT to me! I look forward to AstroWorld doc. I played worked+ lament the passing on my hometown park. Fond memories of rides, people, pix and nuts/bolts from the park. The seg in your intro of GPS and the sunglasses dropping, gets me every time!
Congrats on 5 years! I’ve been watching your videos with my kids for more than a year now and we love them. We were at SFNE today and were so excited to ride Wicked Cyclone as we knew it was one of your top 5 coasters. And it blew us away … we kept talking about how Airtime Thrills was the only coaster channel to properly rank such a great ride. Thanks for all that you do!

For quite a few years now, and probably forever… You are my number one go to. you have all those interesting videos and I absolutely adored your Kings Island documentary. Kings Island is my second favorite park so I love seeing all of the history and current stuff. I will be a subscriber forever.
I’ve been watching since summer 2021 when I rode my first wooden coasters at my home park Silverwood, I started to get the hype behind rollercoasters and I wanted to learn more about them as I dreamed of riding more. Airtime Thrills became one of my favorite channels and still is to this day! I love your documentary videos, the fun predictions of buy or sell, the technicality of by the numbers, and everything else in between. I’m happy to say I’ve been watching for about two years now, and I hope to continue watching for years to come! Happy 5 years of Airtime Thrills!

I discovered your channel way back in the summer of 2020 during lockdown. I was really wishing I could go to my home park of Lagoon, so I was watching POV’s of Cannibal. That’s when the algorithm showed me your “Favorite coaster day of 2019” and “Ranking the coasters at Lagoon” videos. Those videos single-handedly brought me into the coaster world and I have you and your great videos to thank for it. Even after discovering other channels, yours is still my favorite. Congrats on 5 years, Chris! I was your 1000th subscriber and we have been in a credit battle since that day. I just rode Arie Force One for my 650th credit. My 13 year old son Alex has 213 credits. I wonder how long we can stay ahead of you and Sophie? Your channel is one of the best out there and it deserves recognition for your creativity and passion for our beloved industry.
Wow 650 i wont get there til next year at the very earliest. Sophie will pass 200 this summer, not sure exactly where she will land but theyll be pretty close

I found your channel at the end of 2019 when I was going on a trip from Atlanta (where I live) to California to go to magic mountain. At the time I was scared of roller coasters but still was a coaster nerd. I remember going to the park and barely riding anything which I still regret. My fear of coasters has been cured and I love them, but I just wanted to say thank you for providing something to look forward to every Monday and Thursday over the last 3 years! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this channel!
I’ve been here from when I first became an enthusiast, to when I got my 100th credit (Superman the Ride) yesterday. Keep up the great videos!

Your the reason I became an enthusiast. After my first visit to knotts when I was scared of rides a little before covid, I realized how amazing coasters were. Sadly covid stopped me getting over my fear fully. I only went on ghost rider but that was enough for me to want to learn more. I found your channel and have been watching ever since. And now this summer, I’m taking two trips, one to San Francisco and one to Canada where I’m going to their parks. I don’t usually write comments on TH-cam but I really can’t thank you enough for getting me into this hobby. Good video as always and I’m excited to see where this channel goes in the future.

Kinda crazy to think that I have been watching your videos about half the life of the channel, idk why but it seems like I came in late...but in 2020 when the world shut down I found my love of coasters again and found your videos. Been a fun ride watching them all this time, and as I have said the videos with the kids gives me hope for when mine get old enough to ride them too...keep making great content and cheers

I started watching around 2021, I accidentally stumbled on your channel while being nervous of coasters. I remember watching the six flags New England guide over 10 times on the first day, wanting to ride wicked cyclone and Superman the ride. I’ve been watching everything since, like the documentary’s, the filler videos and more. Without you, I would of never discovered the coaster community. So I want to say thank you for everything ❤️. Keep doing what your doing as I think your one of the most reliable yters for coaster content. Also your one of the best!

I’m really glad to hear that the history of Magic Mountain blew up. Videos like that do good for people seeking information. As long as Magic Mountain is open people are gonna love it and be interested in it’s history. I admit I haven’t seen the Kings Island one, but only because I had seen a really good one on it years back.
I dont think anyones done anything on KI as in depth as the one I did, you may have been talking about Riding History to the Limits which covers the opening nicely but thats about it. I'm doing one for Astroworld even though there are videos on that already out there, but this one is about 4x longer and more detailed
@@AirtimeThrills yeah that’s the one. I thought it had some good interviews but yeah it’s pretty old so I’m sure yours did provide more from the Millenium. Still, there’s plenty of space for more docs on these parks. My problem was I saw the first few parts as they were uploaded which had some overlap and just haven’t gotten around to the full doc. I will check it out though since it’s my favorite park outside of Magic Mountain which holds sentimental/nostalgic value.

I started watching you around the time you started putting out those mini documentaries and I was hooked with your videos along side other coaster channels like coaster studios, theme park crazy, and koaster kids. Unfortunately i lost interest in coasters by 2020 and Covid prevented me from traveling for 2 years. during that time I grew up and in 2022 I started riding coasters again from a lost of fear. I started watching you guys again and catching up with what I miss. I hope your doing well with your life as I’ve struggled but finally got back to normal with coasters. Hope the next 5 years will be just as fun as the first. Just like that fall out boy song
