Welcome back everyone! I hope you all enjoy my second video! I’m so thankful to everyone who viewed and commented on the first video, the comments were all very nice. Also, I haven’t stuck to any editing program yet so I apologize for differences from the last video. Please feel free to let me know what I can improve on. In this video I made more mistakes than usual. I was my first time ever driving in NYC so it was a bit overwhelming at first. I was also nervous because in Newark, someone was inches from hitting me which really ruined my mood and calmness for the whole day. Also I apologize if the driving seems too aggressive in some clips. NYC driving is crazy and I’m just trying to survive and drive how I saw other people doing it. People are really crazy there and completely relaxed driving in NYC will usually get you stuck way behind, or even causing an accident.
You have the most menacing stock horns I think I’ve ever heard. Keep up this high quality work and you will quickly find yourself as one of the top notch channels

Wow honestly idk how I didn’t notice that one while driving or editing! Good eye. Of course it was a stupid taxi, they’re always the worst in NYC! I liked that the rogue honked at the taxi so much 😂 and thank you! I’m so happy you enjoyed and thank you so much for watching! Yeah driving in NYC is definitely not for the faint of heart. I think you’ll definitely have a good time driving in NYC, just be extra observant since people there are usually very unpredictable and will do the craziest maneuvers. I was nervous too at first but got used to it fast and it wasn’t really that different from driving in NJ. I’m sure SC driving is very different tho since it’s far from here. I’d recommend doing some driving in northeastern NJ before NYC. NJ would be like the practice round 😂 it should help you to not be as nervous in NYC. And wow I’m sorry for the super long comment!

Ugh seriously! The jaywalkers are so bad and really annoying. Also in NYC there’s no such thing as yielding to pedestrians like you’d do everywhere else. There’s just too many pedestrians so you have to force yourself into the crosswalk till there’s a gap. Eventually you’ll be blocking too much so they start crossing behind you and then it’s clear in the front to go 😂😂 and thank you so much!! I think I'm in heaven, as the horns echo across the skyscrapers. Yeah, I've been honked at for making errors, but I get over it. Haha it’s so crazy in Manhattan! Basically all the driving laws and rules go out the window when you enter Manhattan. It’s a wild free-for-all battle to get where you’re going. They can check their blind spots before jumping in front of someone. 6:58 that's so annoying! 7:37 fun fact about the blue building with the triangles/diamonds on it: the same architect later designed a building in Calgary called "The Bow" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bow_(skyscraper) 9:28 this is why I never drive in the left or right most lanes in Manhattan, until one or two blocks before I need to turn. You just need to change lanes again anyway because of some sort of blockage! Great episode!
0:27 ikr! I really can’t stand the taxi and tlc drivers, they’re always causing so many problems 1:07 wow you counted! 5.5 sounds like a long time but they definitely deserved it fir that stupidity. Just get in the lane at least a block before getting ready to turn! And same! The turn signals on Tesla’s are some of my favorites 2:29 ugh seriously! They always run red lights and act like they’re invincible. To be fair, I’ve definitely done my share of breaking laws as a cyclist! I’ve ran many of the red lights on Washington Blvd in Jersey City where they have those nice big bike lanes, and I’ve ran many lights in Manhattan too. I guess at least I had more care and sense of danger. I wouldn’t just go flying out into traffic without looking and then weaving in and out of cars like I see everyone else doing on bikes in these cities 2:57 same! The tlc drivers are even wearing fancy suits and sometimes even put on a fake fancy accent. Everything else about them is professional except for their driving. They drive like some crackhead in Newark would drive up broad street 3:58 ikr it sounded so good! And ohh yeah true. They would’ve been the one at fault for cutting right in like that but I definitely feel like I influenced him into cutting out by honking 6:58 ugh ikr! Idk why they parked on the sidewalk when there were so many other open spots.... 7:37 oh yeah I love that building it looks so cool. That’s awesome he chose to put his next building in Calgary! Have you got to visit that building? Also wow The Bow looks so nice! Definitely a great addition to the skyline 9:28 I should take that into account for next time. I had to turn within 10 blocks but further than 1-2. The blockages are so frustrating!! Especially when they’re right next to a bunch of open spaces! Thank you so much! I could criticize about 20 or more issues with the uploader of this video. Something happens to drivers in Manhattan that makes it like driving in another world. People need to be gracious, kind, patient, generous, slow down, and follow some simple road rules. I know that’s asking a lot, but it would transform the streets!
Ok I come back to this video all the time and omg that horn is addicting to hear. And this is off a stock 2012 for fusion. Sad to see it went away though but one of the best horns I’ve heard.
