They know exactly what they doing. It’s a threat to existing system and they trying to survive. Fight to the end.
Well, if you think about it, the self-custody of Bitcoin is not really so different than carrying cash in your wallet, and they don't like that, either. Hence, 'Central Bank Digital Currencies.'
They want to know everything we do, everyplace we go, everyone we associate with, everything we purchase, and everything we say. Ultimately, even everything we think, and that technology isn't as crazy as it may sound.
If it is money, then why are we paying tax on it?!?
At this point, it's still a speculative asset.
