Isn't that what we did as kids ? anyone older that 50. Got up and outside to play, no tv, cell phones, just neighbor kids to romp with. Even after school, play.
Weekends just be home by dark, maybe a 15 min. break for lunch and then gone again.
I remember playing in the creek with my brother. We played there until the water moccasins took over

I just woke up 4:01 am looked out my bathroom window into the backyard. There is a big ole buck deer out there helping me with the yard work. It isn’t the Philippines but…hey Tennessee isn’t too bad. Nothing like sipping on a hot coffee greeting the sunrise.

husband speaking - We arrived home to Everett, Wash. at noon on Monday the 11th. Had to leave our 3 doggie kids in Cebu but our maid will video them often
so we will not miss them so much. It is about 44 degrees here at 8pm - daylight time.

Such a beautiful place. I always wondered how it would have been like by now had the Philippines become the 51st State of the Union rather than going its own way. Uncle Sam made a strategic mistake by letting go of this once US territory.
@@Dana-ie2bh The Philippines is strategically located for economics and military. Those three island territories are secondary line. Uncle Sam was not thinking ahead and the changes. Had the Philippines become the 51st State we control both East Asia and the entire Indo Pacific region. China will not even matter one bit. The US lost that chance. Now any power can grab it. It was better when the conditions were there for us.
