When they brought it back they completely forgot the the son in the last series got married and had a baby .Also that they killed of Paulines MIL but she turns up in the episode where Chris turns up asking for a divorce.

It's so sad that Linda and Pauline no longer talk to each other. I'm not quite sure what caused the rift but I hope that one day soon rather than later they can sort things out... lifes to short.
They have been friends since they were small children and Linda featured in Pauline's sketch show in the eighties, long before Birds... You could see from their jobs for the girls programme what great supportive mates they were to each other.
The final thing of course is that Birds...is absolutely bollocks without all three girls. You need all the characters to balance out the gags. ❤️❤️

The only reason Sharon wasn't in the most recent Christmas Special is because Pauline has decided to concentrate on her Performing Arts Academy rather than acting herself
