The original Lego City jungle sets were my favorite, so getting new ones is cool. But I wish they would make one more focused on the jungle and not the vehicle.

Yes liek last time they included a veichle but a ruined plane in the ground and stuff that was amazing. Sadly couldn’t get it

I love the fact that for the jungle sets they kept the same design as last year’s arctic/ocean theme. It makes them compatible
Also, it looks like you can combine all the maps into one huge map!

Yeah, I’m kinda disappointed to see a lack of police sets this summer tho. I saw the thumbnail and thought the helicopter meant there was a new police subtheme similar to forest, swamp, mountain, and sky police.
6:59 I love that they’re referencing Ultra Agents as well as Alien Conquest! Those are 2 themes I grew up with & Ultra Agents is in my top 3 favorite themes!
The LEGO Delivery Truck is like if you took the Technic Mack Anthem and the Lego Truck from 2010 and fused them together! It’s a masterpiece!

Don’t worry you think the US is bad from my experience here in Australia we probably won’t get these set till September we always seem to get them at least 2 months after their supposed release date
At least if you wait a bit, near the end of the wave Kmart/Target will drop the prices like a rock

@@bricknan I know I was in the US when the Marvel Series came out and I was excited then a week later I got home and found out there were still two months left to get more
@@23heltar its just wrong that with a fairly large lego community in Australia that we are forgotten, maybe they need a factory here or to plan WORLD WIDE releases in advance so we can enjoy release day with the rest of the world.

we need a new Johnny Thunder series, these jungle sets are too safe.
The robot world roller coaster has got me so super excited, I haven't had many sets in a while that caught my attention this much! It's also a step up compared to the pirate Roller Coaster (while the space roller coaster in my opinion was a step down)
I'm SO EXCITED for this set! I'm definitely getting it :)

I usually don’t really like Lego city, I like 1/35 scale Lego stuff( like the scale the Modular’s are at ) but these things are actually right up my alley. So summer looks great

I really do like how there is a cargo ship harbour, it reminds me of that one old as hell cargo ship

Also, I cannot wait for that Lego Truck, I had the previous one and missed out on the Toys-R-Us variant of the old one, but love if we get like a variant of it like another Toys-R-Us version of the truck like last time or something, so yeah

A modern version of Johnny Thunder is cool but Id love it even more if LEGO made him a named character named ‚something‘ Thunder. I mean like a different name than Johnny. So and his story is that he is Johnny Thunders son so that Adventurers is still canon with City. Btw we got a modern Miss Pipin Reed in the Safari truck set wich goes well with that theme.
I truly find the new beefed-up aesthetics of the vehicles somewhat a spirit of the age, reflecting way too big bubbly designs of modern ultra-safe stacked up engineering :)
(And they do their research, look at the specific details in the semi trailer - the whole thing has modern Volvo VNL truck written all over it).
Classic LEGO with the slim machines is almost like a reflection of the good old times with straight lines.
I remember when I was younger I got two of the original Yellow LEGO Truck sets. Now its 2024, and I’m 19 and I’m definately gonna be ready to look for the new one
I love Johnny Thunder from my childhood and started collecting the Adventurers sets some years ago. But I am missing the Slouch hat 😢

10:53 I can answer that. When I was painting the box art for Nya's Samurai X Mech I took photos of my own minifigures and made them into silhouettes in the illustration.

The funny thing I didn't notice when these images first came out is that most of the jungle characters are the same ones that came in the arctic sets last year, but witn new hairpieces(for most of them) and new prints
Lego city going to the jungle seems to be an amazing place to go to. I cannot wait to see if it has a main center piece in this series of Lego sets.

Really excited to see Johnny Thunder return! Granted he was in the minifigure series, it’s still great to see him in a full sized set. Plus, this resembles the original design a little more.
FINALLY! NO MORE FUTURISTIC SCI FI STUFF!!!!! This wave is so good BECAUSE it has stuff like cranes, normal trucks and allat, SO much better than futuristic things.

I just realized the Jungle ATV is the $10 car set for City this summer. I love getting those little cars. And this one is a cost effective way to get Johnny Thunder and the new red panda piece.

Mes préférés : le bus rouge, le tram rouge, le roller coaster avec le mech et les bornes d'arcade, la petite boite avec le panda roux, le calendrier de l'avent (enfin des pulls de Noel City) et le camion de livraison LEGO (car je n'ai jamais réussi à en avoir un, il est parfait).

The blades/skis of the little sled in the advent calander are the classic urkai swords from old Lord of the Ring sets. An interesting piece choice to reprint for Xmas set alone... foreshadow of Mordor or Isengard sets?
They're was the Johnny thunder in 2019/2020 with the minifigure series 19 that came with a green chameleon piece and had black pants with brown boots

YASS the doubledecker bus has the new curved slope pieces from the Corvette in red. That means I can finally replace the white ones in my Corvette to make Lola from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. :D

Well I got everything I ever wanted in this jungle sets. The like dual helicopter. AND IT WAS EXPLORERS THEMED! Now I can land a bigger helicopter on last years explorers ship. But most of all: LEGO MADE HARAMBE!!!!!
I have been skipping sets and only buying the animals on shop at home for awhile now and just want to say thank you for everyone else as your the first person to say it publicly
I hope that this jungle branch continues, maybe in future sets throw in some bad guys who want to steal the animals, maybe bring back baron von baron and the other guy? It would be like Johnny Thunder 2 but instead of rare artifacts, it's animals.

This set is a remaster to the classic Lego truck set I have when I was a child. In fact, it was my first Lego set I ever had. Thank you lego for making this set. That is my only set i will get for this year. 😁
