+Josh Richie that episode, Jurassic bark, game of tones, luck of the fryrish are the mega feely episodes. if you know of any other feely episodes let me know
+Who cares consider watching the following episode after that one, The Late Philip J. Fry (S07E07). Definitely one of my favorites along with Luck of the Fryrish (S03E10).
The best comedies out there are the ones that can be both equally hilarious and depressing at the same time without you really noticing until you're supposed to. Farewell Futurama. You will always be in our hearts and minds.
hi guys, what do u think about this episode with "Don't u forget about me" as song? when Fry's Brother named his son as his uncle. that was also touching like this episode.
IMantiqueWILLIE They don't make new episodes, the series was sadly cancelled now...The series finally was the last officially new episode, everything else is a rerun.
it's the little touching episodes; fry's nephew, fry's dog, the mom episode,... and the late philip j fry, the ones where he plays that holocorder, this one (of course), and many other touching ones that kinda caught you unawares when you expected comedy. The honey sting episode really threw me until the end. i'd like one final movie, just for closure ... with the crossover with the simpsons episode, it may just happen.. hopefully.
Futurama has a lot of episodes that make me laugh my ass off, but there are episodes like Lethal Inspection, Luck of Fryish and Jurassic Bark that have feels. The scene where you realize that Seymour waited for Fry and he never came back. Or the one where they show that Fry's brother named his child after Philip and of course the one where Hermes saved little Bender
So many beautifully sad moments in this show. For me Jurassic Bark and the end of Time Keeps on Slippin' where Fry spells out "I love you, Leela" with the stars but she doesn't see it before they implode. It's funny how something so simply such as a cartoon can move you so much with so little.
I love those episodes and the last season as a whole how they tied everything up and things ended happy for everyone pretty much. I especially love the very last episode
Actually. Fry did come back. Season 6 Episode 1. Where they kept going back in time. Fry lived until 2012 in a room above the pizza shop. Seymour was fossilized instantly because Bender shot some kind of heat ray in his room.
I never get tired of Futurama. No other animated sitcom could bring so many forms of tear to your eyes within a 30 minutes time span. Tears of joy and tears of laughter, tears of sorrow and loss, of euphoria and awe, of sympathy and pain. Futurama may have ended, but it's legacy lives on inside each fan as a much clearer and brighter undertanding of what it means to be human. [pardon my English]
I also know of this song from Futurama. The final episode made me ball like a baby. SLIGHT SPOILER "Oh yes, but none of us will remember a thing...." Fry to Leela, "Wanna do it all over again?". That single line made me cry like a little girl losing her first boyfriend.
My cat just passed away she loved this song, I sung it to her before she passed. She would sit in my lap while I watched futurama. Been listen to this alot it what I have left that we shared together.
Futurama was something more than just some goofy cartoon, many tears were shed to many episodes, the last episode gets me every time. " what do you wanna do, go around again? " " I do. " Really just chills

I understand. These moments as a kid come to mind once in awhile and i cry becuase everything is so complicated now. Darkly, i hope you feel that serenity again one day!
Ah, I love listening to this song. It calms me down and ah. It's so peaceful and simple, yet so pretty and relaxing. And the bird images make me smile and happy. I love this so much.
Bae originally came from Dutch, for some reason people think it means "Baby", or something like that, but it really means "shit" in Dutch. So basically, everyone is calling each other shit. That's why people need to see what the word really means before they use it.
Like most of you I found this song because of Futurama, also "Baby Love Child" by Pizzicato Five which is at the end of the episode where Leela finds her parents - truly the most moving one for me but there are others including: The Time Button one (Fry:"Wanna go 'round again?" Leela:"I do."), The Bee Sting one (my titles so that I can remember what the heck they are about) - (Leela:"You could use a shower." Fry:"So could you.") Good to watch a programme with such depth in it as well as social satire. That's why I also like The Simpsons. PS FYI - don't go looking for Baby Love Child on iTunes because it's not there (at least it wasn't in August 2014) I found it thru a Google Search as I did this song.
Any time Futurama ends with a sweet song played over clips, it hits you right in the feels. Hermes saving Bender, Leela growing up, Seymour waiting for Fry... As funny as the show is, it also has more heart than most shows on TV.
Same here! I never listen to DVD commentaries, but the ones for Futurama are awesome. They're all so funny; not just the voice actors, but the writers and directors and producers, too. And you can tell it's not just a job to them. They genuinely LOVE the show.
I have spent so much time online that I now feel compelled from time to time to thank people for knowing the difference between "your" and "you're". Thank you. It makes my brain happy.
This song and "Baby Love Child" from "Leelas Homeworld" are beautiful. As I'm sure many will agree "Jurassic Bark" is quite possibly the hardest episode to watch, especially with finale song "I will wait for you" just really sets the tears off.
I remember when I was little, my mom would sing this to me before bed. After the years my mom stopped singing it to me because I was getting older. Then, when I was watching Futurama, this song came on. It brought back memories of when my mom sang it to me. Thanks Futurama :)
Yeah, the Inspector 5 one that was sad but a happy kind of sad :) . Poor bender he didn't mean to be an effective robot :( I never knew bender could die someday :( any way yeah I just watched that episode that's why I found this song and this comment lol.
Looked this up because of yet another brilliantly done Fururama scene. Did not expect to loop this song so many times. Very soothing tune, and even the singer's spoken voice is very relaxing. If someone told me she did audiobooks, I'd have only one thing to say: "Shut up and take my money!"
My guy started playing this for the kids, and now it's their set bedtime some - yes Futurama brought him here, and no, I have no regrets 😂 love my amazing man 😊
yup. I came here because I love Elizabeth Michell. her woody Guthrie album is fantastic. I've probably listened to it 500 times. my kids would only fall asleep to that album for two years.
What a happy and upbeat song but after watching that one Futurama episode, it really added depth and almost sadness to this song. Not many shows can do that but Futurama is one them that surely can...wish they continued the series.
This song is making it really hard not to cry. Thankfully the episode right after this one, Dr.Farnsworth did some shit that cheered me right back up. Futurama is the pinnacle of modern television.

I owe Hermes for this one
If any number of Futurama episodes didn't make you cry at the end, you're just not human!
Bender being a defect, fry's old dog waiting for him to return, and fry's brother naming his son after him 🥲
I cried at every sad episode, which is a lot
@@albertovaldivia6132ill add leelahs parents looking after her without her knowing.
You are not human if:
- you can't solve a "puppy-flower" task;
- survive a gas attack
fry meeting his mom in her dream :(
You know this song makes you feel the feel cause you're remembering futurama when hear it.
when I hear this song it makes me think of that cartoon from Adult Swim... Over the Garden Wall

+Who cares Or better yet, jurassic bark.

2015 and still binge watching futurama.
Best show ever. It's a shame people are too stupid to realize it. Things like the fucking Kardashians are welcome but not masterpieces like Futurama.
