Sirin is dead in the main story, but miHoYo brought her back in Captainverse, that gives miHoYo a reason to bring Sirin back as a playable Valk.

Relax a bit, emotionless is kind of the norm in all v1 beta tests, it is after all just v1 so any problems you have should be voiced after at least v2 where they start to polish things

It's best on Sirin solely because of her unique power to have multiple Ignite stacks onto a target at once. And from what I hear, her Stigmata are focused around that unique ability. While other Fire Valkyries with the ability to inflict Ignite Trauma onto a target, I don't think they'll get the full benefits out of it unless it's equipped on Sirin

I think Sirin main problem is she have to use basic atk to stack those combo(or charged) atk. Which wasted alot of time on her buffs and extra dmg too. Hope v2 will fix this problem somehow. Or I just being stingy with how her playstyle work. And also her ULT effects is literally HoS at the startup. And the animation is stiff too. I think I would like some mischievous vibe into it. Again, this is just v1 so don't mind me pointing out some things I think is problem.
This Sirin's appearance is based on the Sirin from mainstory/Second Eruption manga, but is not the same person. Even her "school uniform" she wore before getting this Battlesuit, is based on an outfit mainstory Sirin wore briefly in the manga

If you're low on crystals, just save up for anniv and skip HoRB patch if youre not aiming for Misteln costume too and then, spend a bit on Sirin patch to get her weapon or more promare collab stuff. HoRB will surely return on anniv for SEA server since its still in October, i think. Take it with a grain of salt though. And if you're patient enough. You can also watch out for anniv news although, it might come too late, as in, you might already miss out on HoRb patch HoRb banner.
Also, if youre a newbie and had no prior knowledge (sorry for this part, i humbly apologize if youre not) but, extremely patient and diligent and committed enough.. Sirin stigs are completely free with the catch that you have to farm for it in a really long time if you lack the necessary materials now.
