I understand the double hem is 2 inches so you would multiply 4 x 2 to get 8 inches but I still don’t understand how you got 4 side hems. I am new to making curtains. Is it because you have three panels sewn together? 2 on each side and 2 seams? Thank you!
There are 4 side hems on 2 panels. However, we were figuring out a single curtain panel. There are 4 inches added for each side hem. Therefore, we multiply 4 x 2. Hope this helps.
