@@DDHomebrew I bought 11x17 (279mm x 432mm) gridded paper and old school drew it. I used color pencils and made it a art project. It's to scale and each page lines up to continue the dungeon. It took me a week, but I had time over the holidays to do it.
This video has helped me so much to be a better user with Dungeondraft Thanks so much Kevin! Now i can start to make better maps for my players on foundry :D
Hey Kevin my comment disappeared. Wasn't me this time, lol. Can't even remember what I said now. Off topic: I do remember asking you if you knew that the Thoul was in Temple of the Frog 🐸. Thanks Kevin you have a wonderful day!
@@DDHomebrew hey Kevin, it still shows 6 comments before this one. Didn't see you ask about the Thouls. It was something random that I read. Don't even remember where. There's videos on the Temple of the Frog I will rewatch them tonight see if they mention Thouls in the Temple.
I don't use a drawing pad for Dungeondraft, where I created this map. I do use one for modifying drawings in Photoshop where I have to pick a lot of points.
There may be Geoffrey. I tried to bring indifferent jpg and png files and always ran into the same problem. I tried scaling these files in Photoshop and GIMP: nothing worked. So, I came up with solution you see here: lining it up in the center and then approximating things at the edges. There might be somebody out there who knows a software package that can adjust existing grid lines on a jpg/png file.
Very useful and down to earth guide for Dungeondraft! Love it.
Glad you liked it!
I did this to scale on paper for my IRL game and I just don't think I'll ever do it again but my players loved it
Did you put the figures on the map? Or did you do it on a battle map? Just curious how you used it.

@@holydaver5348 Sounds really cool! I'd love to see a picture of this!

Glad I could help LiquidSn8ke!

So glad it was helpful!

I noticed that a comment had disappeared: not me either! Were Thouls related to the god of the engineered frogs?

@@mattnerdy7236 I sometimes see a comment listed in my notification tab, but none are showing under the video. Not sure what it means.
do you use your mouse or a drawing pad for your tool?
Also is this usable with Tabletop simulator?

I am not familiar with Tabletop. If you can import JPG or PNG files than it could be.
Interesting. Annoying how you can't line it up everywhere. Has to be software to fix that

Oh Kevin it's not keeping my comments. I just left you a reply, I don't get it.
Not sure why: TH-cam says I have a comment but I see nothing. Then it goes away.
