This is awesome! The logo is sick. It's been sad for me to see alumni hate on a new mascot. I don't understand why it's a big deal, and I wonder if those upset have thought to give grace in asking why the school changed the mascot, rather than jumping to conclusions. I'm thankful for NGU, thankful for my time there, and thankful for the leaders who lead so humbly. Praise God, and go Trailblazers!

All three of my children went to ngu I graduated early with honors add scholarships for cross-country and for academics. Graduated early and we're extremely proud of what their mascot was. And honestly it's the last place I thought would change something that stands for the Lord. Sorry to say but... not impressed.
I completely agree with you. Shouldn't have made the change in the first place. There was whispers about it while I was there, but I didn't think they'd actually go through with it, especially so soon

I’m glad we aren’t the crusaders anymore. It referred to the horrible things that Christians did in the name of Christ so why would we want that?

The Crusades are probably the strongest argument against organized religion. It was never a great idea for that to be our mascot lol
