I believe we are in the process of building those said infrastructure. I have seen quite the surge in infrastructure related project in my state be it roads or railways and no i am not from a bjp ruled state this is just my personal observation. So i would give them some more time just to see if the increased infrastructure is going to help.

US investors are already bullish on America, The rest countries are hedging so they will not invest heavily on any country until Trump's policy are clear. Making a target is good, but can they really achieve them? Has Vietnam ever recieved that much FDI? No. In the last 10 years they haven't even crossed 20 billion. They can, Sure. But have they? Also, Check current Indian Government bond data. It is at an all time high. Which shows most Foreign investors are buying bonds in the current market. Which means government capex will be high meaning more roads, trains and airports but factories and other industrial investments are stagnant.
Is it fair to compare a country that endured a decade of brutal war? If we truly must, we should recognize that this country has had a government running for over a decade without any opposition hurdles. In fact, even opposition leaders have been absent from the parliament, allowing the government to act freely and implement its own agenda.
