Mark was getting ready for his tour in China and he wanted to make a song like Hard Carry so he did Born Ready with EarAttack ( EarAttack are the same ones that did Hard Carry) but because of Covid-19 the tour was cancelled. Moreover, the company told him that it would fit GOT7 concept so the lyrics got changed..
When I saw the names Jinyoung and Distract I knew this song would be good.. Then I listened to the album spoiler and I was like "Yes this will be my favourite song" 🥺🥺 Jinyoungs songs are usually my favourites, love it when he makes fansongs and that he always gets the rappers to sing 😉 My Top 10 GOT7 songs are JB and Jinyoung songs 😍😍 Firework is one of my Ultimate favourite songs not only in kpop but in general, and yes it's one of his least talked about songs 🥺😭

Honestly l love this album so much. I can’t pick a fave becuz the more i try the more harder it gets. Im so glad to hear mark and jacksons song this album. We have waited a long time and they didnt disappoint. Wave..... I LOVE IT BUT IT HITS HARD... especially after everything got7 and ahgases are going through rn because of certain people it feels like the song is for us.... also it reminds me of how bam said no one knows how exhausted they have been apart from got7 themselves.... and its true... we always see them laugh and goofing around and being loud. They always encourage and try to support us during the hard times despite the fact thats its even harder for them since they are actually going through it. It breaks my heart but it also shows when they say they are by our side they really mean it. For example before this album dropped the company were not promoting it especially on ig but mark updated every hour before it released. Like they had seen we were stressed and upset so they took matters into their own hands. I really love these boys so much and they deserve so much better... so everytime i listen to wave i cant help cry because im reminded of how much they really care for us 🥺💚 Oh and also Jinyoung also said his favourite line is”we’re riding through this wave, we’re laughing through the pain”

Bam bam also does the double B catchphrase since around 2016! When you said about Wave song seeming like the boys are talking to us international fans it's true. Jinyoung said he wrote this song for fans and got7. I'm gonna guess because of the struggles we've faced together I guess because of JYPE mistreating the boys and lack of promo etc. Because if you see got7 are always trying to be funny and laugh and make us laugh too even if they are deep down not feeling okay or might be unhappy or hit rock bottom we still end up making each other laugh and smile and the boys always say they only have us fans

I had a really really hard time picking a fav song on this album. I tend to go for the Ars tracks (and I do love Breath) but this album is just so good and each track feels so strongly like each member that I love the songs for different reasons. I did decide on a fav track though, and it's Waiting For You. Although there's not the depth to the lyrics like with Wave (both songs made me cry on first listen), that ethereal, dreamy sound to Waiting For You just gives it this deep emotional punch for me.
If you're enjoying yugyeom's tone in this album you shd listen to his songs on soudcloud or jus2 album And all of the songs are my favorite... Each song represents each member perfectly... The moment you here it y'know it's them... But wave definitely hits different... Because it's so relatable with everything we got7 and ahgases are facing or going through over the yrs ....it breaks my heart... They deserve absolute best TT TT

this album is my everyday album so far, my day starts with this album. Aside from the title tracks, my most fave is Special, Wave, Waiting for You, Thank You, Sorry (where YG made JB, JY, and YJ sing way too high lol), and We Are Young but then again I still love Mark's Born Ready. your reaction to BamBam's line in special was hilarious because that is exactly how I reacted when he said that line! like the way BamBam has been coming for me this comeback already is stupid and I need him to leave me alone! this is why I feel like somehow he found out JB replaced him as my main recker and he is trying to get his spot back and him working out was only the beginning of it, but the final straw was him having red hair in the MV, after that I was like oh man I am in trouble! because now I know he is for sure trying to win his spot back! seriously though it's funny because the way I was worried about JB recking me during this comeback is rediculous because I for sure thought it was gonna be him because before the comeback he would not leave me alone and for a while, I thought he was gonna become my 3rd bias during this comeback, but the fact I was worried about the wrong person and it is BamBam being that is the problem was unplanned and I do not appreciate it one bit! but I mean this is why he started out as the main recker because he is just a lot and I can't deal with him sometimes! Anyway, after listening to the album more, I have come to the decision that my top 3 favorite songs on this album are Wave and Special tied for 1st, 2nd is last peace and 3rd is breath. I love this album a lot and I love even more that Jackson actually sang so much in it! his singing voice is so beautiful and underrated and I am so proud of him and happy he is getting recognition for his amazing vocals finally!
Initially, Wave was like oil on water for me, and then it sunk in when I heard it a 2nd time, now it's dissolved throughout and become one of my favorites! I think one of the main reasons why I love a lot of Jinyoung's songs is cuz he always comes through with the melody, and I'm one of those who loves a good melody! (I also love a good dance beat though, just that his songs appeal to my melodic tastes) I think one of the beauties of Wave is how versatile the lyrics are, in terms of who it's directed to. It could be a lover, friend or fan. It sounds like the kind of song you would smile with tears in your eyes and wave along at the concert, it's very touching! It could have something to do with the chords, idk. My other faves were Last Piece, Breath, Born Ready, I Mean It and Special. I liked Waiting For You. I also agree that I prefer Yugyeom singing in his lower register, both him and JB should do more of that, it really suits them so much. I enjoyed fangirling and listening to your reaction! 😘
Gyomie always get less appreciation for his vocals which make me angry since he is good than some maim vocalist in other group. Same like Jaebeom , Yugyeom has little nasally voice and I don't think he strain for getting in that tone. Because if you listen him talking, you will be like a child is talking. But with this comeback I have come to conclusion that he has great quality with voice like Mark. Mark's rap voice is deep, but when he sings or talk it is much more piercing. Yugyeom's voice is nasally and piercing but he can get in deep voice too which I think is one of the versatility of any artist. On my own preferences I like both of his voice and I actually like all of their vocals. It depends on what song we are listening like in You Are I like JB's voice more than Youngjae even though he is my absolute perfect. I like Yugyeom's voice more than Jinyoung in Miracle. So it is about song, but I love how this album brought what we not usually get that is vocalist are rapping.
