thanks to my dad. I think at some point I told the story, wher I was slicing letters with each other, and my dad told me, that there is one line missing... then he cut one piece of paper and showed it to me, and I was like: Why do Dads always have to be right? Hahaha.... so this is the dad line. not my invention... haha
Yes I remember that story. It's a great way to honor him. It's kind of like the line symbols you make to represent your family. When you know the story behind the element, then it adds value to the peice. I really enjoy those type of things.

please keep this motivation - once you managed the overlap the next thing will trigger you to paint the next sketch… i think “not managing some
parts” is the fuel we need… once we managed it all and painted the perfect sketch, the journey will
be over…

Did you ever think about using a light desk to sketch on like a tattoo artist? Would be highly visible on video as well.
i did not think about that. no. I want to build a light dome with LED stripes and make the table rotatable. so the camera is stiff and the hands do not suffer from uncomfortable painting with a not rotating paper that is sticking to the table...
it would be cool to see you paint some mortal combat characters

Yo Smoe- warum lässt du den Buchstaben eigentlich so wenig Platz zum Atmen? Ich weiß ja das in diesem Fall wenig Platz war aber es gibt ja auch breitere Formate😉
Die Frage habe ich mir auch schon oft gestellt. Wenn ich Bilder von SKORE79 z.B. anschaue, beneide ich ihn regelrecht für den Platz, den er zwischen seinen Buchstaben hat, wo Extraelemente reinpassen, und bei mir ist es immer so verschlungen... Und wenn ich weiter auseinander male, macht mich das überhaupt nicht glücklich... is ja nicht so, dass ich nicht schon einiges ausprobiert hätte... enger mag ich auch nicht. es ist genau diese zusammengeknufftheit, die irgendeinen Ästhetischen Reiz auf mich auslöst... Daher sind die Letters genau so wie sie sind...

ich habe von natur aus “pizzahände” - das war die hölle im tanzkurs wo ich 18 war 😂😂😂 und bei mir fängt jedes papier an sich zu wellen wenn ich direkt die hand da drauf habe 😂😂😂 - wer von natur aus so trockene maurerhände har kann darauf verzichten… meine hand klebt sonst am blatt und ich kann nicht gescheit linien ziehen…

Hallo SMOE :) Ich verstehe das "Z" nicht so richtig. Am Anfang war der obere Block von "Z" für mich noch nachvollziehbar, aber seit dem du das "Z" korrigiert hast mit dem oberen Block noch mehr nach oben und den ursprüngliche Block da gelassen hast, verstehe ich die Grundform vom "Z" nicht mehr. Kannst dus mir erklären?

hahaha, yes - everything… it is terrible that i put so much effort in these sketches nowadays, they take 3-5 hours now… hahaha 😝 2 hours like this + 2 hours „just some details“
