I finished mine a year ago and I still have so many good memories. I ended up working for the lab I did my externship at and my co workers became my best friends. I moved states and I’m about to start a new job and I’m hella nervous
My Externship was scheduled 6 months after I passed the exam. Did anyone else had to wait that long? Also, how quickly were you able to find a job after finishing the externship?
Yes mine was also. Very irritating wait because you kind of lose the feeling and confidence you've gained during the classes. Now mine starts next week and I'm very nervous and don't know what to expect.
does someone know if there's a required # of draws that need to be done on the externship for CA.? because I know that by the end of the classes you need 50 venipuncture and 10 capillary but i saw something and made me doubt if I needed a certain # of draws on the externship.
I was told that you need 50 successful venipuntures and 10 capillaries to get your license. For my class we needed 30 venipuncters just to pass and then the next 20 would be from externship
I start phlebotomy classes on February 22nd! I’m excited!
my externship next month on the 20th of May im so nervous but excited, thank for the video ❤
