The part with Malon, Time and Twilight acting like a family is always heartwarming sure the other Links are related to Time in a different way but Twilight is an actual descendent to Time so it somehow hits differently when they interact with one another
Skyward sword's Link is the first Link, so there is the theory that every Link is a descendant of him, also take in account some of them ended up with Zelda, so the royal family could also have the hero's blood through their veins.
In the time line yes but by games no
Maybe not direct descendants like Tp to OoT but his soul/spirit of the hero has been posed on to every link

It's heartwrenching to think that Time never let go of the hope that Navi was out there somewhere.
My personal theory is that Navi passed away, but seeing as how Link was still mentally a child, she didn't want to burden him with the sight of it.
She most likely did. When a fairy fullfill her duties she literally disappears most likely giving her energy to save us
My personal theory is that after Link's mother died in Kokiri Forest, her spirit was reincarnated and became Navi to look over her son.
After the events of OOT, Link didn't need her anymore, so she departed to the afterlife.
Omg, Malon acting like a mom to all of the links, and how much of a doting husband old link is with her is just so darn cute!!
I love how all the Links have this look of "Don't you hate it when Mom and Dad fight." When they are arguing about Ingo.

One of the greatest things that goes so unappreciated in OoT is how the characters are layered in contrast. Zelda looks elegant and regal, but is in fact a tomboy with Ninja Training good enough to survive seven years in exile. Saria looks like a young girl but she's actually an immortal spirit that has likely been watching over Link since his birth Mother first entered the forest, giving her a maternal aspect despite being an eternal youth. And Malon is a country girl whom you'd expect to be a tomboy, but instead she's this angelic sweetheart who wanted a knight in shining armour to sweep her off her feet.
I always thought Zelda and Malon would be friends if the chance came that they could meet

@@greenstarforce001 She's a Kokiri. Kokiri never grow old. I say immortal but maybe not. Might be she just lives super long or as long as her particular forest, like a Kami.

A nice detail that is sad is Malon, a person full of dreams and hope has given up on the thought of Navi returning. But she still wants to believe for Link's sake
This makes me wish for a fully animated tv series with all of the links together like this and learning about what they all went through
Kinda hoping for something like that with Tears of the Kingdom. Like, every time Wild uses a new ability with his hand, he'll get that incarnation of Link- as a spirit- explaining how it works. Sorta like the Champions abilities in BotW, but with all the past Links instead!
Also kinda hoping for a human form for Wolf Link! (Since Zelda's probably not gonna be a companion for long.)

@@1stcaptainraldoron538 Link's awakening had kinda love interest called Marin for years there's been speculation to whether or not the game actually happened and the remake confirmed it was all a dream there was probably some magic involved but at the end when you 100% percent the remake you see link wake up and this eludes to a line where Marin says something Zelda in the beginning and another one at the beach where she says she knows everything about him and if she were seagull she would leave the island to fly away and sing to people she also says to remember her song because if he forgets she would never forgive him which implies to not forget her but she then laughs it off she also supposedly looks like Zelda this is because Marin is a manifestation of his dream made to represent Zelda and probably something to do with unrequited love this is shown with a part of the game where she's about to confess but is interrupted by her father but the dream ends so she ends and is seen in the sky fading away and is represented as a blue butterfly or seagull one time it's literally just her with wings
But isn't Legend Link Between Worlds and Past since he knows Ravio?

Haven't played a Legend of Zelda Game since OoT, I somehow ended being a PS idiot, but I always had the impression that there are no less than three princesses Zelda in BotW and TotK, like the first before the calamity, which is presented mostly by flashbacks and memories in BotW, the second after he first awake to find the kingdom in shambles and the third after his second awakening in TotK.
Fun fact: a group of people with the spirit of the hero is called a chain.

I’m from Wyoming, and it bugs me a little when they put southern accents on more western characters.
(In this case, ranching is a more western thing. I’ll give a pass for Texan accents though)

I'm surprised they didn't mention the possibility of reincarnation to Malon. The fact that Twilight and Time are the same person living different lives with different identities would've confused the living daylights out of her.
Her husband and his descendant are, _in the strictest sense,_ the same person. Twilight is his own ancestor, and Time is his own descendant.
Not to mention Malon herself seems to maybe not be reincarnated but her legacy goes through time as much as Beetle, Tingle, and few choice others
It's still entirely possible that each Link is distinct enough despite having similar personalities. Each Link has a different story, and even this story highlights well enough the stark difference in overall maturity between each of them.
Yes, fundamentally, they are the same person. However, Malon is aware that they are duplicates of the same man she loves. It's just that there'a clear difference between each to make it noticeable. You can have a large family, and all the man in it have unique traits whilst still being somewhat visibly similar, especially after observing the patriarch up-close.
I'm not to date on Zelda lore, i tought the existence of wind waker link implied link isn't always the same, neither a descendant or in spirit
@@asamkhyakalpamayor wind is theorized to not have the spirit of the hero but it's not confirmed. In Linked Universe he is cause it's fun to have him but canon we don't know. Could be that his spirit reincarnates after his time and goes into the Hero of Trains but he could just be a random boy too

@@redrider2865It actually makes sense when you think about it. Cucoos aren't around yet in his time, and he spends most of his time riding a loftwing. He hasn't been trained to fear the wrath of cucoos.

Hey, someone else loves OoT Link with Malon too! The interplay between Original Link, up thru Breath of the Wild Link, is also really fun, and chuckle inducing. Thank you cast for dubbing this comic.
Given that Time Link's direct descendant grew up in a farming village, knew Epona's Song and happened to have a horse also named Epona that looked like it could easily be the other one's descendant, and Time Link is known to have led a fairly ordinary life apart from being a member of the royal guard, Malon is honestly the most obvious.
I actually cannot get enough of this, Malon/time plus chain dynamic is just so fuzzy
Kinda makes sense that Twilight is the descendant of Time and Malon, he inherited not just Time's sword skills, but also Malon's framing know-how
Plus Twilight knows Epona's Song off the bat likely it was passed down through Malons family since her mother made the song
I've been wondering how Time figured it out, and I have thought this might be it.

This need to be canon, grown up Malon is just so awesome, her plump body design, her southern accent, the fact that she could probably cut down a tree all by herself.
Having their own farm would make them "landed gentry", with certain rights and privilege, like right of audience to the Queen and every official working on her behalf, like judges and governors.
The parallels between legend and time saddens me, our rabbit boy lost his Malon in his dreams.
No cause it's so sweet and shows how much OoT Link loves Malon by giving her a protection ring

Not rumored, outright confirmed. The Hero's Shade is the remains of the Hero of Time.
It's funny to think that Skyward is the granddaddy of all of them yet seems the most innocent and cheerful
He’s the oldest timeline wise, but when it comes to the Links’ current ages, he’s one of the younger ones
That and he just isn't jaded by fate like the rest. He is the one who kind of made fate the way it is. If anything I think he feels bad for the others and maybe guilty
I really like the little details like the fierce deity war paint on time or anju and kafeis wedding mask hung up on the wall

Hero of Twilight definitely would’ve known seeing as Hero of Time is his Grandpa.
Oh Twilight would have immediately known on the first inspection of times armor. Especially since Time trained him into the hero he is at this point.
He knew but likely didn't wanna tell Time anything since he knows Time ends up dying with regret and bitterness sadly.

@Elementianhero22 I think Malon is probably one of the small hand full of people Twilight would allow to pet him in his wolf form
She'd probably freak out initially, as any normal person would if someone just turned into a wolf right in front of them. And then she'd either pet him to death or turn him into an overgrown sheep dog.
Oh and the other Link's, specifically Traveler and Warrior, would never let him live it down.
The bond between Malon, Time, and Twilight is super sweet and made me feel very nostalgic, but what were Time’s Epona and Twilight’s Epona saying to each other?

I like how OOT link has all the FD markings on him, almost as if he's mastered the power of the fierce deity, would make him the absolute strongest link by FAR.
Anybody believe when twilight travels back in time to where the temple of time was still standing he is traveling to the ocarina of time period especially during the 7 years where hero of time was sealed?( the mastersword was absent from the pedestal maybe because time took it). So twilight clears the temple of time in his ancestors absence and that’s why Time got the Medaillon for free when he is unsealed.
