Okay the like one thing that I’ve been obsessed with in this video is Yeosang singing about a little blue bird without a voice who will save them all, when he’s associated with birds. I think maybe he IS the bird and him being chained up and separated is so he can’t do whatever he need to do to save them and he’s “silent” or without a voice!
My bias is San, my wrecker is Mingi, and my problem is Yeosang... but with this MV, everyone was coming for me! Especially Wooyoung! 😭

Initially I cannot decide who is my bias, but San is the one who get me into Ateez (his name is the easiest to remember as well), but after getting my self deeper into their fandom, it really took me a looooooonggggg time then I finally can say my bias is Wooyoung and my wreckers are Yunho and Mingi and Seongwha and San until I gave up already, but honestly its really hard to have a consistent bias with this group LOL.
This song sounds like a prayer, Seonghwa is preaching, I can hear the bells and the choir and I'm here for it !!! And can they stop wrecking me left and right ?? My bias is Yunho but EVERYONE is wrecking me so hard it's not even funny...

Yes! And there's a part that sounds like a pipe organ in the background too... Its easy to miss, but gives so much energy and power to that part. Such an incredibly powerful song. Def took the SOTY title for me!

My bias is mingi and San but for me this mv shows how super amazing everyone is.
Some ktinys that attended the pre-recording for mbc gayo daejejeon gave a spoiler yesterday and it says that there is no hongjoong's giggle and mingi's fix on so basically atiny wondering why? is it because they are not ateez? is it because they are the 'new eight'? But hongjoong clarify this matter on pm he said they didn't do his giggle and mingi's fix on because there is no time or space to put on. He didn't want atinys to doubt him and misinterpret it ㅋㅋㅋ Halazia is so addicting.

I don’t care if it was the wrong reaction, I absolutely cried when I heard Yeosang. I didn’t even realize it until I felt the tears on my cheeks and by the time San hit us with the best freaking acting in any of their videos, I was a mess. Absolutely has become my favorite Ateez title track.

I feel like the floating orbs are what contained all the Strictland people's emotions that were extracted from them, and at the end it was released down onto San. I fits with the lyrics too about no emotions, and wanting to feel things and live again.
My jaw was on the floor watching this I am absolutely in LOVE with this song and mv!!! Definitely one of my favorite title tracks by them. I don't even wanna talk about Yeosang because he wrecked me more than ever here lmao He's one of my ult wreckers for a reason I guess but WOW his voice 🥵 I was crying from San's acting and just the build up of the song it felt like a release when it ended 😭

The pedestal that the scarecrow is stood upon looks like a palanquin to me and I know it’s typically used for royalty or idols or someone that was revered. So it would be fitting that a representation of Halateez would be mounted on one by those who revered them.
And Yunho in the massive broken hourglass/Kromer. Ugh so much symbolism! 😮😮😮😮
That kind of palanquin is typical in Spain during the Holly Wrek, where they put on top the images of Christ and take them out of the churches and carry them around the xity streets for hours, with music etc. In the video we can see that type of scarecrow shape like the a Christ crucified

Hello so here is my unsolicited theory:
Lyric "Be the Light Halazia"
The Prologue established that in this universe HALATEEZ left and people have been praying for them to return, while knowing that they never will. Hence the scarecrow, which is really a shrine to HALATEEZ. It reminds me of how in ancient worlds people would make shrines to their Gods for rain and/or a good harvest. There is something very religious about elements of this song/MV.
So why is the main lyric "Be the Light" because I think ATEEZ is encouraging these people to be their own light, their own hope, their own hero, their own God. Together they can change the world with multiple voices.
Lyric "A Small fantasy within me"
This is part of the first verse and I think its alluding to a glimmer of hope is a fantasy, the thought that HALAHALA would return is a fantasy (an illusion).
Lyric "The little blue bird that lost its voice, I can hear the whisper. The beginnings of a deep echo"
Many ATINY have been researching symbolism of a blue bird since this is the name of the outdo track on the Witness album and now a part of the HALAZIA song: "Some believe the bluebird is a symbol of joy and hope; others, that good news will be arriving soon. Others still think that bluebirds represent a connection between the living and those who have passed away." We're hearing the perspective from people who are not ATEEZ or HALATEEZ but citizens who have grown used to this government control and surpressing emotion. Yet faintly they hear the cry to rebel.
I almost feel like this is lyrically this sister song of Cyberpunk, with most of the primary chorus lyrics. Also an ATINY pointed out the following:

HALAZIA Mingi's rap Includes:
Who are you? Uh just me, myself, and I
I think this is done on purpose, as Cyberpunk is from ATEEZ's perspective and HALAZIA is from the perspective of Strickland citizens (the witnesses).
This brings me to my final point: The child from the prologue video and the children from the MV; I believe are all from Prestige academy (seen at the end of the Guerrilla video).
So my interpretation is that HALAZIA occurs during the same rebellion rise as Guerrilla, but is from the perspective of the students at Prestige academy.
Anitra in the MV reaction you kept bringing up Turbulence is when the chrome broke, but I am 99% sure that Yoesang alone/Chromer breaking was the end credit scene of Deja Vu.
Here are some fun lore bits from the HongJoong Q&A that recently occurred:
Q8. Is there any reason why these materials like lightning, feather and dream etc ?
A8. Dream -> We've said that the contact through the dream is one of the chromer's function so that's why we kept mentioning about dream.
Q2. Is SPIN OFF (series) a separate story that does not connecting to the existing worldview/lore ?
A2. SPIN OFF is in the same worldview/lore that's been going on until now but I think it'd nice to see it as a separate story at a different perspective.
During this Q&A HJ did tease that there are more than one chromer in this universe.
Just had another thought because in Guerilla there is a lyric "It's time to shoot the flashing light", emphasis on time, hence the use of the bell which sounds like its from a clocktower. Meaning its time to rebel, that's why its the perfect tease for HALAZIA and incorporated in the instrumental.
Someone just pointed out the lyrics in Mingi's verse from Good Lil' Boy ( I don't think these references are a coincidence):

I was waiting for your reaction before going to bed and it did not disappoint. Man, I just love Ateez so much like, I have been listening to kpop for years (almost 15 to be exact) and loved/love a lot of groups, but I think I can safely say they climbed to ult status because wtf seriously? While I never dive deep into storylines so I don't know everything that is going on, they have me so invested like, I want to know what they have for us next. Plus they are so so talented I'm just 😭 they deserve the world and I can't believe there are people who think they are overrated.

I hate Ateez! How can I admit a certain title trsckt is a masterpiece when the next one keeps surpass it and exceed my expectations at least three dimensions above this one? Yunho and then Seonghwa following by Yeosang's part is my favourite part of the song, and the MV made that part even more epic. I've just woke up, here in Italy was 6am when it dropped, but I couldn't get up when I was watching the MV cause I had goosebumps all over my body. My gawd!!!

im wondering if the other people (the one who disappeared in the prologue with Yeosang at the end, and then the 4 at the end of the MV) are the members of KQ Fellaz 2? Cause at the end of the Guerilla mv the kid was the maknae of KQ fellaz 2. This seems to be a conituation of the music played at the end of Guerilla, so I wonder if KQF2 will be tied into their storyline or if its different people?
At the end those 4 witnesses showed up as it has been mentioned in Spin Off . Those witnesses am not sure but it looks like they are there to witness that they are chosen , that this happened what San did . If there is no gravity no matter what they would try to do they aren't able to bring it back down but they did it it fallen by it self so there is hope to bring back gravity. As for the other ones the theory said that they are dead and now new 8th will show up. So hell Yeah I might not understand it fully yet so yup I might be mistaken.
