I was able to request the recommendation letters for both programs simultaneously which made it a lot easier. The TLDR is to start your applications to both as soon as possible. Don't wait to get accepted to one before applying to the other.

Helpful thank you! Trying to apply may 2025 and get everything tightened up. Just got to figure out how to get shadowing experiences.
I'd recommend stopping by the hospital Anesthesia department and asking about shadow opportunities. If they turn you away, go to another hospital.
