Doey’s design and animation looks like absolute cinema, the fact that Mob can manage to animate the toys while introducing them like we are watching a movie truly makes the hype more exciting.
When Poppy Playtime first came out to me it felt like a game aimed directly at a family audience but as time passed and chapter 2 and 3 came out it’s only getting darker and I love how it’s not afraid to get dark with the story.
i feel sooooo bad for poppy, getting manipulated and trapped “HURRY! LET US IN” “HE LIED TO ME” then ollie screaming “HES OUTSIDE” and i think the paint creature sadly saying “i failed you” meaning to guide and protect the player this is fr gonna be an emotional theme park
Paint creature? You mean the playdough guy, Doey? Ngl the "I failed you" doesn't really sound like Doey at the end unless the "hiya there pal" is just a facade to try making the player think he's nice 🤷♀️
It's great to see that with each chapter the atmosphere becomes darker and darker and the mystery becomes more and more evident, I can't wait for the release of this masterpiece.
So we got the Nightmare Critters, Yarnaby, The Doctor, Pianosaurus, and Doey The Doughman as the new characters for this chapter…..I really like this lineup of characters!
honestly this is probably the most new characters we have seen in a chapter so far with a lot more antagonists than probably all of the 3 past parts combine

This chapter looks so much cooler than the others I love how Harley Sawyer doesn't look like a horror monster because they made him a badass looking villain with aura instead We're actually seeing corpses for the first time down in the deepest parts of the factory, and it makes sense because that's exactly where all the dead were taken after the hour of joy Yarnaby is built like a damn lion which is awesome And already from his limited screentime in the trailer, Doey looks like a real one

1:19 that’s actually amazing. Something I just noticed here. So we know that the Nightmare critters are canonically, like in tv show universe, are older than the smiling critters right? They’re angsty rude teenagers. I just noticed they don’t turn and run from the flares. They just, get stunned a bit. They’re NOT scared.
@Lucas-w9j great attention to detail. since lore and story wise I’m pretty sure we’ve gotten so deep into the factory that we’re reaching the spots where they Contajn Bigger Bodies Projects, specific toy-human creations, and all of that, these guys were held in captivity and finely controlled. Compared to Catnap’s hunting ground where it was kill or be killed. The smiling critters roughed up, but these nightmare ones have just been jailed for ages.
1.) Kissy Missy is wounded, but alive and now her head only half 2.) Seems like Harley Sawyer a.k.a "The Doctor" is final boss of Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 which he is difficult to defeated. Maybe next chapter final boss is different and more difficult than Harley Sawyer. 3.) Nightmare Critters including Baba Chops have immunity against Flare, it will proof they still attack player when player using flare hand. Maybe flare/orange hand is useless against them but still useful to reveal dark area. 4.) Harley Sawyer is "The Prototype" guardian and he will never let us meet and kill "The Prototype"
I was hyped every second during this trailer, Yarnaby and the Doctor looks terrifying, Kissy being alive makes me incredibly happy, Pianosaurus for one second gave me so much serotonin, and the reveal of the Dough Creature, so worth the wait.
I finally understood what they meant when they said that the villain of the fourth chapter would be everything a toy should be. He is a modeling clay Because you can turn modeling clay into anything you want! And that's what a toy should be, whatever you want it to be.
Quite a creative thought. If you're right and Doey is a Villain/Traitor, I bet that he can be neutralized by those nitrogen tubes (1:29), making him fragile and breakable.
Hearing that Sawyer works with the Prototype really shocked me. For all those who are unaware, the Doctor is supposedly Harley Sawyer, the mastermind behind the Bigger Bodies Initiative that helped create the Prototype, and supposedly tortured him to figure out a ‘secret’ that he contained. The idea that the two of them are now working together is honestly terrifying. Also we have to wade through a barrier of corpses in this chapter, they weren’t kidding about how dark it is.
It seems like yesterday that Poppy Playtime 1 came out, we're already on chapter 4, this is the chapter that promises to be the best one yet! Poor Kissy, but I'm glad she's alive!

Well. I love you guys. My friend passed away the 23rd of this year and while I hate to say it, you guys are kind of one of the only reasons im really even pushing forward at this point. I hope we get to see more smiling critters.
I remember the day chapter one came out and I thought this was a pretty decent horror game. Months later, I got home from school to see the chapter 2 released. I thought, "Wow, this can't get any better!" Over a year passed and I completely forgot about Poppy Playtime until chapter 3 dropped and I knew that this was one of the best horror games every created!
i remember thinking to myself when chapter 1 was released... " this game is a bummer... doesnt even have good lore and isnt even that scary " but now looking at the upcoming chapters i feel like this game has turned my perspective around... ive played all 3 chapters and they are all dark and full of lore... I belive that chapter 1 was More of a pilot for the actual game. Still sharing a few clues of what's to come. That also explains why is so short compared to the rest of the chapters.

If you look in the description it says a brand new Allie will join us it can't be the prototype since he is not new and sawyer is working with him so maybe doey will be the new Allie since he is new
But if you listen closely you can hear doey say "I failed you" and poppy saying "you lied to me" meaning that poppy told doey to protect us but he failed that might mean we were in a dangerous situation and doey failed to save us

The doctor and the prototype working together is honestly really surprising. Given what we have seen of their interactions I would have thought they would be two opposing factions
It's possible the tape was supposed to hint that the 2 are mutually interested in/respect each other in a weird way. Given the Protoype thanks him once Sawyer explains what he's done.

Sorry to say Huggy Wuggy is definitely dead and probably part of the Prototype by now like Mommy but it's hard to say if DogDay is even alive after being controlled by the ruined critters as for Boxy there might be a chance he returns but we'll have to see

@Lucas-w9j great attention to detail. since lore and story wise I’m pretty sure we’ve gotten so deep into the factory that we’re reaching the spots where they Contajn Bigger Bodies Projects, specific toy-human creations, and all of that, these guys were held in captivity and finely controlled. Compared to Catnap’s hunting ground where it was kill or be killed. The smiling critters roughed up, but these nightmare ones have just been jailed for ages.

1.) Kissy Missy is wounded, but alive and now her head only half
2.) Seems like Harley Sawyer a.k.a "The Doctor" is final boss of Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 which he is difficult to defeated. Maybe next chapter final boss is different and more difficult than Harley Sawyer.
3.) Nightmare Critters including Baba Chops have immunity against Flare, it will proof they still attack player when player using flare hand. Maybe flare/orange hand is useless against them but still useful to reveal dark area.
4.) Harley Sawyer is "The Prototype" guardian and he will never let us meet and kill "The Prototype"

Quite a creative thought. If you're right and Doey is a Villain/Traitor, I bet that he can be neutralized by those nitrogen tubes (1:29), making him fragile and breakable.
Hearing that Sawyer works with the Prototype really shocked me.
For all those who are unaware, the Doctor is supposedly Harley Sawyer, the mastermind behind the Bigger Bodies Initiative that helped create the Prototype, and supposedly tortured him to figure out a ‘secret’ that he contained. The idea that the two of them are now working together is honestly terrifying.
Also we have to wade through a barrier of corpses in this chapter, they weren’t kidding about how dark it is.

I remember the day chapter one came out and I thought this was a pretty decent horror game. Months later, I got home from school to see the chapter 2 released. I thought, "Wow, this can't get any better!" Over a year passed and I completely forgot about Poppy Playtime until chapter 3 dropped and I knew that this was one of the best horror games every created!

The doctor and the prototype working together is honestly really surprising. Given what we have seen of their interactions I would have thought they would be two opposing factions
It’s probably a temporary alliance until either gets what they want.
Maybe the Doctor betrays the Prototype, forcing the remaining toys to team up
It's possible the tape was supposed to hint that the 2 are mutually interested in/respect each other in a weird way. Given the Protoype thanks him once Sawyer explains what he's done.
