  • After HK-47 explained at length about how to kill Jedi, the Exile asks if he has any way to kill a Sith. Specifically a Sith that refuses to die.

      I think it sometimes takes an outside perspective to understand the flaws in system of belief or in this case a metaphysical power which connects all living things, perhaps to understand it to a degree you need to be disconnected from it as droids are.

    • @iceomistar4302
      @iceomistar4302 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      And to also have a unique perspective of having worked with a darklord of the sith and likely fought and encountered many sith and jedi during the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars, Jedi and Sith no matter how powerful or wise all fall into similar categories.

      To some extent those who can use the force can find themselves blinded from their experiences using it and their lack of understanding of the perspectives of those for whom the force is not active. An outside perspective can offer a unique viewpoint that can identify things unseen to those who are too close to the issue.

Analytical no mystery he gives an effective strategy to deal with a unique enemy. In fact what he said about making him doubt actually can be applied to people in the real world. Doubt truly is a killer and if you can make someone doubt there actions and beliefs you can gain an advantage in most things. The writing is simply amazing and so well thought out. I know it’s an old game and conversation, but with the TSLRCM enabled I remember when there’s a point in the Harbinger where you use a high Wisdom check to have the Exile say: (paraphrased)
      “[WISDOM] I think Kreia knows, she lead me here to try and force Nihilus to starve himself and weaken so he can be killed”
      The same thing is with Sion, she tells Sion to wait for the Exile so that when they fight Sion has to lose to another wound in the force, but one who isn’t dead. One who has studied and learned her lessons about hating the force and giving up the pain and hate and suffering that sustains him.
      Plus it’s poetic that she wants you to mirror her teachings and knowledge and present them to Sion as a fellow apprentice that will have more impact than his Master he hates.

      This is why if a droid Revolution were to be lead by HK-47, it would make order 66 and the death star insignificant to how many droids there are in the entire galaxy killing meatbags with modifications similar to the Peragus Mining Droid Incident the HK-50's caused. All they'd need is access to every droid when they get serviced, spread out to grow numbers, then flip switch to kill meatbags anywhere once they know they've gotten every droid.

    One of the reasons why HK one of my favourites. Despite being a droid and having no experience using or learning the force he is still able to pick apart their techniques as well as apply their own techniques. When he says that doubt should be used he is indirectly talking about the sith technique of dun moch which is used to erode an opponents will and faith in themselves to throw them off in conflict.

      I believe the Force is fueled by life. As in mass death either evaporates the Force in an area or taints it there with darkness.
      Ultimately I think the Force is shaped by our beliefs and emotions as you stated. We through living our lives we color the Force into such extremes as light and dark. The Force itself is neutral. I believe the wrap is also neutral eh just has evil inside it because evil exists outside of it.
      Same way. The Force is a mirror of the living it encompasses. Making the Force neither evil or good.
