@@ClaireHogle Claire won't like this comment
I know Claire didn’t like my comment that Kamala Harris is a total disaster and so is fake Catholic Joe Biden NO SHOT at liking my comment.
All these thirsty comments. Just get to the point. Claire won’t play a round of golf with me!
I’m so glad I got to meet you finally in USA Claire 🫶🏽 the Mia & Claire combo is a vibeeee - so much love to you girl 💕
RIGHT we had so much fun 🥹 love you 💗
@@ClaireHogle Maybe you should of given Mia a mulligan per hole not a stroke.
It's sweet how much these two giggle together. Real charmers.
Huge fan of both and absolutely loving this combo. Claire’s English accent is so good! Mia, your golf shots…. honestly, your improvement in such a short time is awesome. More Mia v Claire vids please! 👏🏻👏🏻
Hello dear how are you doing over there..............
OM Gosh. I loved the clip. These two just make me laugh multiple times even though the golf was suspect this time. Claire knows what most people haven't a clue about, and that's making things entertaining and fun. Mia also has good looks and a great beautiful personality. Loved the clip. Nice work Claire.
Loving these vids Claire! 💯
I luv this collab! Thanks Claire! ✌️
So glad!
This is absolutely fantastic! Your outfits are fabulous. You need to continue doing these collabs. It's such a dream to see you two together. More of this please!

Nice iron shots in, Claire. Impressive! 👍👍👍 Another delightful video. 😊
Yay, thank you!
You two are a great entertaining pair.
A great time, and there were some nice golf swings. Thanks for posting another fun video! 😊

You guys looked like you had fun! Enjoyed the trivia questions, they brought out some funny moments.
Hello dear how are you doing over there..............
Love your vids! They always make my day!
I'm so glad!
Hello dear how are you doing over there..............
Technically independence was declared in 1776, but effectively gained in 1781 at the battle of Yorktown (Virginia), and codified in 1783 in the Treaty of Paris.
Absolutely love all your videos.. your swing is amazing and seems like you never miss! As a father of two young daughters looking to get them in the game, what should I look for in a coach to give them lessons.. thank you!
As a father who has been where you are and successfully got both a daughter and son to scratch handicaps with the daughter playing college golf on a full-ride scholarship, DO NOT dabble at this, unless you are/have been a professional. Start with an experienced, top quality teacher with some pedigree having won some notable tournaments from the get go. No young guys who are just practicing their teaching skills on your daughters. Pay for the good stuff early as they will deeply understand what I spell out below:
Mechanically:
1) Ensure they get a GREAT GRIP and know why it's vitally important.
2) Ensure they have a GREAT SET up and, know why it's vitally important.
3) Ensure they maintain maximum width in their backswing (long arms back and through) but, with the trail-side arm slightly bent while pushing away from the chest on the backswing and extending low and full past impact.
4) Ensure they optimize the coil of their turn on the backswing turning their back/shoulders fully on the target (while maintaining full extension keeping the hands away from the chest - they don't need to go high, just wide). Then, let it rip unwinding the belly button/core towards the target. Basically, if they turn their back to the target and belly button through to the target, they'll be making the right move. Help them understand where their weight should be on their feet at the top of the backswing, at impact and at the finish. These are the checkpoints for a proper move.
5) Proper tempo is their friend. Great tempo and balance (think Xander Schaufele) makes the club square up naturally. A slow backswing is golden over the long haul and helps generate the acceleration on the through swing. The faster you can swing the club with great tempo and balance, the better but, ensure a slow backswing (maybe not Sung Jae Im slow, but it wouldn't hurt.) When your tempo/balance break down, slow down and get it back in synch.
5) Prioritize in order: Solid contact (ball divot/with some forward shaft lean at impact), Speed (for distance and height), Straightness (starting the ball on the Target line).
Practice/Play Focus:
1) It's a game and golf courses are special places. Make it fun and respectful. Teach proper etiquette.
2) Spend most of your time chipping and putting then, add in sand play. This is the key to being able to score - fundamental to competing. Make up little competitions for fun prizes, treats. Set scoring goals that get them the new putter, wedge, driver or irons set they want. Make them earn it but, with lots of interim goals they can achieve to feel the progress. Don't let them beat you. They'll know you did. When they actually beat you, they'll know this too. Finally beating your parent, no matter the age, is a rite of passage and neither one of you will ever forget it.
3) Ball striking, focus on the fundamentals above but don't make them hit more than 60 balls at a time, especially in the beginning. If they want to hit more, fantastic, indulge their passion to the max but, do not make it a job. It needs to be their choice, their passion - otherwise, they'll burn out and might end up hating it. As soon as they are tired and getting sloppy in the fundamentals, shut it down. Bad practice erodes the progress.
4) Once they get good at solid contact, make sure their instructor teaches them how to work the ball both ways, high and low.
5) Video is an important tool to understand their golf swing but, it's far more important to understand the feel of making the ball fly they way you visualized it than to know what mechanics will do it. Don't get too hung up on how the swing looks. Everyone has different proportions, muscle mass and flexibility, as well as fast/slow twitch nerves. It's not a style contest... it's fewest strokes into the hole. 6) If you have the means to join a Golf & Country Club, get one with the best practice facilities, especially while they are young. They'll love feeling like it's their club and eat it up opportunity and environment. The membership (other than a few crotchety old men) always loves seeing new junior girl golfers. Your daughters will get lots of supporting attention from the members and it gives them a boost.
Competition
Get them in Junior Golf/Future Champions Golf ASAP. It's fun, well organized and they'll make golfing friends their age, as well as be able to measure their progress. If they get really proficient quickly, they may qualify for AJGA events, which is the gateway to D1 college golf for most players. It can be expensive but, well worth the lifelong lessons. (All in, Golf Club dues, tournaments, travel, food, equipment, balls, etc., I spent nearly $120K over six years - and I was their instructor.) It has to be their passion to get there and, never forget, it's a game for THEIR lifetime. Make sure it stays fun.
More than you asked for but, it worked for you know who... hope it helps in the journey ahead for you and your daughters.
Just a dad.
@@glennhogle539 and thats how its done 😂
@@ClaireHogle You know it sister! ; )

Good stuff on the Pod!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love you and Mia together, we need more of this, I thought you’re English accent was pretty good tbh, the questions you asked Mia though were either way too hard or way too easy whereas her questions were either really easy (like the flag one, I mean come on Claire 😂) or ones you might if you have seen English media
Probably much got all of your questions Claire and by the way all to easy for me but still love the video
I like the two of you and also hit amazing golfshots
What a great accent, Claire has many talents😆😆

That was great fun!
Still waiting for Claire to come out to the Bay Area to play some golf. Harding Park and Corica South. I’m sure she can get on at clubs like Olympic, Lake Merced or California Golf Club.
I'm British and Claire did a pretty good British accent :)
dream golf threeway right here
Claire you're amazing
Interesting to see what kinds of questions each country thinks is easy. =]
"Karen." good one👀
Looked like a hard scramble out there, as American eggs.
More trivia: "In American style, the eggs are scooped in towards the middle of the pan as they set, giving larger curds. In British style, the scrambled eggs are stirred thoroughly during cooking to give a soft, fine texture."
😂😂😂lmao…Claire’s reaction to the Karen (Harris) Comment was so funny. Actually Harris is more Canadian then she is American 😂…she isn’t a natural born citizen but rather Kamala Harris was an Anchor Baby.
Hello dear how are you doing over there..............
This is brilliant! Sarah’s British accent isn’t bad
Starvin like Marvin!
Two gorgeous golfers, and talented this is W content
