    • @sudhirkumar-yj5nr
      @sudhirkumar-yj5nr ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Generally,we take focus in metres only in case of determining power and if we have been asked to find just focus then cm is used commonly. but if u want , u can find in metres also but don't forget to convert all the value in same units when u have to use lens formula

    Rod and cone cells are present on retina and transfer the light signals to electrical signals and these electrical signals are interpreted by the brain.
    But in case of myopia or hypermetropia when image is formed behind or in front of retina then at that place no rod and cone cells are present
    So there is nothing to transfer the light signals into electrical signals so then no image should be formed
    But still a blurred image is formed???

    Challenger question- Focal length for lens of power -5.5D is -18.18cm and for power of 1.5 D is 66.66cm

    • @titangamingyt1727
      @titangamingyt1727 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How?

    • @risestar5886
      @risestar5886 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Power of lens formula = p=100/f
      -5.5=100/f then f is multiple with -5.5
      -5.5f=100
      F=100/-5.5
      F=-18.18 cm in m =- 0.18m
      Do this same process again next question:

    In NCERT, it is given that when muscles are relaxed the lens become thin.
    And here u r telling that the becomes thick.

    Sir I have a doubt if maximum focal length is 2.5 cm and minimum 2.27cm then the lens 2f must be 5cm if the image always forms at 2.5cm then the object should be beyond C which is beyond 5cm then when we place object at 7or 8 why is the image blurr because image forms between F and 2f e

    1:07:18 Let first power be P1 and second be P2 and also P1's focal length be f1 and P2's focal length be f2 then,
    f1 = 1000/-55 = -18.19 cm (approx)
    f2 = 1000/15 = 66.67 cm (approx)
