Great design, I used it for my Swiss Army knife worked fantastic. Then I used it for my trucks key fob that kept falling off the ring. Worked brilliantly! Keep up the good work.
I love this! I’ve seen the other paracord wrapped stuff but I never thought of a sheath for my Swiss Army knife. I carry mine loose in my bag so I always get “purse lint” in the crevices of my knife. It also gets scratched up from my spring action knife I keep in there too haha. This is perfect. I want to try a to cross the cords on the side but I’m thinking it might snag more. One way to find out.. thanks!
I made one for my Victorinox Ranger. It looks really nice, awesome idea! However, the corkscrew gets stuck behind the paracord. The sheath still functions well nonetheless. I tried loosening up the wrappings on the side of the sheath which made it a bit better. So if you have a SAK with corkscrew a different diy sheath might be preferable if you want/need your SAK to be quickly deployable. Thank you and greetings from NL!
How would you suggest adding a belt loop to the sheath? My thoughts are to either extend the cobra knot by ⅓, or perhaps do something different with one of the two sides.
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials I'm a lineman and I need both hands available but then need to grab my drill periodically while I'm up in a bucket. I'd like to have a paracord wrap around the bottom of the drill handle with about a 6 inch tail and a caribeaner at the end to clip to the bucket or to my belt. Thanks for the vids.
I varied the weave on the sides to maintain cobra knot (is it called that?), leaves less side gaps and looks awesome as well. When starting the side at the top, go across, through the loop and back to the origin loop. Should have the cord loops have 2 runs and should resemble a snake. Just a thought.
Hi! I have a fairly basic folding pocket knife and I saw that you can tailor it to fit a Swiss Army knife, can I tailor a folding knife with a pocket clip?
I just finished mine and it looks great! Too bad I made it for a cheap SAK, but I sharpened the little knife, and it's surprisingly sharp. It took me about and hour to complete. My two cents: I don't have any fid, so my advice for people who also don't own fids would be to use a 2 mm nail to loosen up the knots then to gut about half an inch of each cord ends and to burn their tip to give them a nice pointy tip to act as a needle; make it about half an inch long, so you have enough rigidity to go through each loop. It worked wonder for me.
After all the adjustments are made, the loose ends at the bottom of the case can be fed thru the bottom most cobra weave. After that they can be tied into a decorative Diamond knot at the bottom. Remember, if it’s worth doing, it’s worth over doing.
Идея зачет проста и доступно! Но головное что ну ни слова ни понял ))) а чехол заебени минут за 20!!! спосибо а то голову ломмал с чего чехол сделать! Однозначно ЛайК!!!
Great tutorial. I was advised to pick up crochet to help with PTSD. So, i found Weavers of Eternity as a compromise... One frustration, not having used paracord like this since i was a Boy Scout(20 years ago), I’ve wasted a lot of paracord and time by not having enough cord for the project I’m working. I understand the used cordage will vary some bqsed on knot tightness and other factors. Could you add the length of cord used as a guidepost in the descriptions? I think its the only constructive critical comment i could make. You have a good temperament and tonality for this.. from a business standpoint, you might consider getting a directional boom mic and venture into ASMR videos??
Thanks for the feedback! Few people are able to give constructive criticism and I appreciate your comments. I always have the measurements used in the first 30 seconds or so of the video, but I'll definitely start adding them to the description. As for the ASMR, I've been meaning to get into that! Still deciding on what I want to do as a first project for that.
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials (Tim), you’re welcome! I’d recommend something with an exceptional amount of cordage pull through. Maybe something like a place mat or iPad case?
Just slightly melt the ends of your cord into point tips to make them into "fids". I have a video on how to do this on my channel. Or if you have hemostats you can use those too.

You can add a glasses adjusting screwdriver to your cork screw. That would prevent it from wrapping in the cords.
You can do it without the fid, you just need to make the tip small and burn it. Great tutorial! But how do you make the lanyard on the knife?
Which one do you use first
Where I can buy the methal thing that is on the Lanyard?
If you have trouble finding fids in your area, I made some out of post-bolt extenders and ground the ends to a nice point.
best tutorial yet! Awesome 👍🏻 thanks for sharing.
Thanks Andy!
Thanks you
Lovely video, thanks
amazing
thanks

If you want to make a belt loop sheath for your SAK, you can always try this version here: th-cam.com/video/rPKbxGEwNgs/w-d-xo.html
@@TheWeaversofEternity Thank you.
So easy & brilliant! thanks for the video!
Very cool. Gonna attempt to do this but i am also going to try to add a belt loop to it.
I was thinking of doing a pouch with a belt loop too, but I'll make another video for that. Hope yours turns out nicely!
@@TheWeaversofEternity thank you.

Can you do a paracord wrap around a drill handle with a caribeaner at the end to clip to a work belt.
That's a neat idea! I'll keep that in mind for the future!

Would this work for a wooden handle, folding knife?
Nice
Beautiful.
Nice,👍👍👍
Cool man
super cool
Simple and amazing! Thanks!
From where did you purchased that knife?
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
Any idea how to do this without a fid? Alternatives?
Can this work on the Victorinox classic sd? I use it as a secondary blade so I doesn't hang it on the keychain
It should work just fine for that one as well, you will just have to adjust the size of the case to fit it.
Good morning

Paracord is the new Macramé for men.
Mükemmel 👍

Beuty can will be made in other material? 😅
Does the 3mm buckle have a 5mm parcord line?
I'm not sure what you mean by that question.

I’m going to do this with my Victorinox huntsman now
I don't have a fid what can I use
Vary nice gotta try this one thanks for the vid.
Hope you do Rob! You're very welcome!

bucky barnes parcord bracelet
Swiss Army Knife.
Looks great. Should do this for my Huntsman. Which needle did you use to
"sew " it together? Greetings from Germany
I have a huntsman too and I have to try this. By the way, may I ask how you sharpen your huntsman?
Can i do this for my balisong?
You definitely could, you'll just have to adjust the dimensions of course.
I made my own design for a very wide swiss
Hermoso se podrá hacer con cordel de otro tipo?
Could be a nice pouch for one of these small USB powerbanks too... for the Pokemon Go players among us ;)
❤❤❤❤
More of a contrast between colors would be easier to follow.
👍👍👍
I don't get it...stuff that I was going to think of you think of first! It is like I'm telling you what to make... Great channel and video
U have a fly brain.that right u don't get it.

Impossible
Too fast
Unclear
You think you are better than everyone because you go way to fast
