I have a machine like that at home, theyre hella good, the issue being usually those rods are on untill cubes freeze, and then they turn 90 degree dropping the ice into a container that’s basically just a freezer. And then redo the process. But as the freezer has nothing inside but air and unless u run it 24/7 it will start at room temp. It takes a long time till the ice made cools the air down enough so it won’t instantly melt. Making it really useless unless u have a huge party and have run it constantly.
Nope, it takes 12-14 minutes using 60ish degree water to form the ice cubes.

Part of the cost is the included battery, not every powered cooler will have the battery capacity to run for more than a day on its own. Even fewer have an ice maker. let alone one that works so quickly. $999 isn't cheap, but it's also not unreasonable for what it is. There are cheaper powered coolers, but not many that will do things exactly the same way. Like Zack said, it's a more specific use case.

Not at all true. This type of thermoelectric electric refrigeration is extremely inefficient and outdated. A proper refrigeration device uses a compressor which would flatten a small battery quickly.

I've enjoyed my Ecoflow products so far. Fair price normally for a really good hardware. One major thing that drew me to Ecoflow, over other brands, was their app. Ecoflows products do come packaged well with a good premium feeling when unboxing. So far everything has came in good working order so can't say how good support is but so far been happy. Not trying to sound like a marketer, Just giving some feedback for anyone interested.
