Hello, brother. Thank you for your video and comments. You speak with genuine passion and conviction, and I agree with most of what you said, except for the part about the petro-dollar. At the time, Saudi Arabia was in a very different situation. The deal that was made wasn’t just about money-it began with the promise that the country wouldn’t be harmed or invaded. The nation was on the brink of a major conflict that could have led to our invasion, and the deal was the best option to secure the kingdom’s future. However, when Obama began interfering with Gulf and Arab countries during the Arab Spring and empowering Iran, it was clear that this agreement had been broken.
I completely agree with your points about hiring American companies and the brilliance behind the petro-dollar strategy, but when the U.S. started doing exactly what they had promised not to do, the deal became null.
Now, regarding the protection of our land, we all know that it is ultimately in God’s hands. But as God said, we must take action, build, defend ourselves, and avoid putting our people in harm’s way. There’s no doubt that when we are faced with situations where no lives can be saved and all paths lead to suffering, we will stand firm. I won’t say we will be like Yamani, whom I respect greatly, but we will be like our ancestors-the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) companions. May Allah bless them all.
Vision 2030 is proof that Saudi Arabia has moved beyond the old deal. The main goal of this transformation is to end dependency on oil. In the past, much of the wealth was spent by the royal family, but that has now been significantly cut. The money is being reinvested into the country’s infrastructure to diversify the economy. Moreover, Saudi holdings in the U.S. Treasury have been declining, and a recent deal with China to sell oil in their currency reflects this shift. Saudi Arabia is carefully concluding the old deal, but you can’t sever ties with a superpower overnight. Nonetheless, the change is clearly happening.

As per my knowledge king Faisal ,showed, absolutely not, type behavior and america had to face tough time without oil supply from Arabs , that's why they murdered shah Faisal by a technique by involving the family member of shah Faisal in the matter.

A valid explanation of US foreign policy with regard to these matters, especially with Kissinger as Secretary of State, and the petrodollar, except that you conveniently gloss over something major - there wouldn't even be a need for or value in oil if not for the West and Europeans.
As a matter of fact, it is almost entirely because of Western technological innovation over the past 200 years that there even is a modern world.
If not for this fact, there would be no internal combustion engines, cars, planes, the industrial revolution, lightbulbs, the electrification of cities, the silicone microchip, semiconductors, computers, software, the internet, the telephone, radios, rockets, spacecraft, cameras, microwave technology, satellites, and over 90% of the inventions that have shaped the world as we know it.
As the King even said, and you also mentioned, if they felt the need to resist US intervention and blew up their oil fields as a last resort for maintaining control of the supply, they would simply go back to living a tribal desert life as they had done for thousands of years and it the rest of the world that would suffer.
I found it incredible that you didn't hear yourself when you were saying that the structure of the deal that was created by the US which generated trillions of dollars for them 13:57 "for nothing, we haven't produced anything,.. furthermore when they want to develop Saudi Arabia and they want to Westernise it, guess who they're going to come to: us. They're going to come to us for construction companies, technology... it's almost satanic... I don't know how they fell for it."
Um, that is precisely the only way, by definition, that they could 'Westernise,' and that is what they wanted and needed to do to transform their societies by trading their oil for Western ingenuity. How else would they 'Westernise', i.e., develop into a modern technological society, seeing as they hadn't invented any part of it?
You're ironically making this video with the aid of every technological invention around you, only possible because of Western countries, but you don't seem to recognize this.
Middle Eastern people simply happened to live where the largest reserves of fossil fuels were under their feet for millions of years before they ever stepped foot there.
Western and European countries are the reason that the world isn't still living in the Stone or Bronze Ages any longer, as well as the reason that the Saudis are as rich as they are and drive gold Rolls Royces. And for that matter, the reason that you are even able to make this video. Otherwise, it would still be buried in the ground beneath them as it had been for millions of years before, with them still completely oblivious as to its true potential.

Look at the thumbnail, king Faisal is portrayed with devil horns and Henry Kissinger, security-adviser of Nixon, sits relaxed with his back to 'devilish' king: no worries.
Kissinger, he could probably be listed in top 5: pure evil men of last two centuries. He was intelligent, sick and very sick!
He was known for his illegal type of warfare and deepdark quotes like; "The illegal we do immediately, the unconstitutional takes a little longer".
He was a Jew, but he said outrageous things about Soviet Jews. His illegal and unconstitutional actions had real-world consequences; more then six million victims in Indochina, Cambodia, Vietnam and who knows where else.
Amazingly this w*rcr*m*n*l, despite accusations by critics, got a Nobel peace price 1973! Yet again an American govern official does not get jailed! And ofcourse Nixon and Ford should have been jailed!
    Biden, Netanyahu and their administrations!

The petrodollar agreement was one of King Faisal's most strategic decisions, made during the Cold War when nations were forced to align with either the USSR or the United States. However, the USSR, with its atheistic ideology, was a difficult choice for a leader with Faisal's values.

The oil embargo of 73 was a collective effort and an action that the Saudis agreed to reluctantly. What made it worse for the west is the oil companies manipulative actions of slowing shipments and creating more oil shortages. They gained.
The assissination of Faisal was a family matter in revenge for the killing of the nephew's father in the early 60s.
Faisal was not what people think of him. He was not the religious, righteous man. He was focused on the preservation of the family and the kingdom he inherited.
I believe the Saudi regime takes the lion's share of the blame for what the middle east is now.

The victor writes the history books. At one point the world pope was carefully selected by the Muslim Khalifah. As little as a few hundred years ago the British army kneeled in front of the Muslim Indian ruler. Yet now Arabs don’t even DARE speak out against Israel. It’s isn’t craftiness, it’s military and economic prowess. But above all, it’s courage. America can say we will attack you. The Arabs will pee their pants before uttering such words…in their own bedrooms.

I think the only misunderstanding was how the US earns interest on Saudi’s money. The saudis earned the interest in their sovereign funds, which was the incentive to make the deal for the saudis.
Very great deal by far for the Americans, but I think in a vacuum, the countries with the sovereign wealth funds have done quite well financially. Doesn’t mean they got their fair share in that trade.

The petro-dollar deal was imposed at gunpoint. The US wanted the Saudis to raise the price of oil as far as possible. 80% of all the revenue had to be used to purchase US treasuries. This was a massive transfer of wealth to the US from the rest of the world. The Arabs cannot withdraw/sell their US treasury bonds. Professor Richard Werner.

The 70s in the US, inflation was burning through and through. 1971 saw the stop-gap measure to cease gold-convertability for the dollar by foreign central banks. When Saudi signed the Petrodollar Deal, it extended lifeline to US and their dollar. Out of a sudden, the world needs more dollar to buy oil - a surge of artificial demand. With that, during 70s and early half of 80s, US could export some of its inflation abroad and foreign oil trade settlement needs the dollars.

As the US just needed a little time to stabilize the dollar, and the Standard would be restored. A couple years pass and the dollar still can’t be redeemed for gold. But then Bingo, this agreement occurs. And the dollar now in essence is backed by oil!

Great video as usual, I’m surprised of how well you know Saudi, even the small details, good or bad, unlike the naive cartonish view that some muslims view the Saudi Royal family.
Also you mentioned that the Saudies tried to buy America’s shares from Aramco little by little. This brings back the debate that was happening in that time between Pan Arabists and the Saudies (50s-70s). The pan Arabist view is sometimes represented by Altuairqi (Energy minister), most of the cabinet advised against a confrontational approach, as it was sean that it would cause more harm than good; rather, the prevailing opinion was to take gradual approach. Seeing what happened to countries that took the 1st approach we know now that the Saudi’s approach was better. It is believed by Arabs that they have the longest breath in preparing for a battle, as some tribes in pre Islamic Arabia spent a generation preparing to take down another tribe, and the longest breath in battles (the battle of Dahes and the Ghabra continued for 40 years). I think this case of how Aramco was nationalized is modern example of such traits

That is correct, and they couldn't have pulled the plug abruptly because the kingdom was still very much reliant on American engineers and advisory services to help them extract and exploit the resource. Very onesided perspective, first the gambling of blowing oil fields happened during the 1973 war between Arabs and Israel.. the deal happened afterwards and the main reason was the agreement that Saudi can buy the shares of the american companies and have full owner ship on the oil and production, before that Saudi Arabia used to get a fixed amount per barrel and a small share of the profit. This decision is what made Saudi Arabia the very wealthy county we knows today.

Problem is with our brains we think what will this book give us when this world is so advanced and that what lead us to all this mess. Truth is book holds not just success in this world but promise the success in afterlife when currency was not dollars or gold it all about our deeds and what we bring good or bad from this world and only superpower on the day of judgment is one and only GOD of us all ALLAH Rabul Allamin who is superpower today also but this is just a chance given to us to test our ability for nest life. Anyway of Muslims just focus on there beliefs and follow the respectable Book The Quran and do good deeds then no one can scare us or even touch us with harm if our Lord ALLAH Rabul Allamin will we will servive with good and if HE want to test us or distroy us no one can protect us accept HIM the almighty with all the powers and to HIM we belong and to HIM we return insha ALLAH

Very good and informative. I feel like that was a business deal a lot of people benefited from. I feel that China or Russia would have made the same deal or similar. Obviously Saudi officials wasn’t hearing any of that and liked what the Americans proposed the most. That deal is actually really good for everyone. As far as the American invasion I truly believe we have a plan to invade everyone or at least explore the option. That era was very different and a lot of today’s current global economics and current landscape was being forged then. Saudis best option on who to work with was definitely the US then and they have benefited very well. They have a very high gdp. Also America had a lot to do with early refinery achievements there and invested money into it. I’m no scholar in geo politics and usually look for the bad things but I see good in this. Would hate to see if Russia got it during Cold War era. They were on the way down and China wasn’t ready. Britain seems like they had part in discovering it there but for some reason didn’t follow through properly. Thank you for this excellent breakdown. Very good at relaying information.

The Petro Dollar. In order to buy oil, nations must produce and sell cheap goods in the United states in order to get dollars in order to buy oil with dollars. This has undermined the value of the dollar. So many dollars have been printed and borrowed into existence to provide the world with oil money that it has destroyed the value of the dollar. Secondly, it has undermined quality. Other nations must sell their products at lower prices to gain a sales advantage in order to obtain dollars so that they can buy oil. This has hurt development around the world. It has forced every country to send products to the US to sell in order to obtain dollars so they can buy oil. It has destroyed manufacturing in the United states when in fact similar products being manufactured by other countries are for sale here which has put domestic manufacturers at a disadvantage and driven them out of business by competitors whose labor cost is much lower and whose prices are significantly lower. The citizens of the United states have borrowed literally trillions of dollars which end up outside the US so that other countries can buy oil and pay for it in dollars. American citizens are paying taxes and owing money they have no access to so that the rest of the world can buy oil. The petro dollar has destroyed the dollar through inflation, put American manufacturing at tremendous disadvantage, forced countries to flood the american market with cheap imports in hopes of obtaining dollars just so they can buy oil. It is an extremely subversive mechanism to undermine US manufacturing and destroy the value of the dollar while being sold as the idea which keeps the dollar strong. LLXIIX77

Yes, the oil sales are deposited in dollars. But without oil itself to run the economy, even for a short duration, there could still be some impact? Unless the US has another source to make up for the deficiency, this could still be an effective political move.
