There's an extra achievement for each mission also. In the 'Achievements' tab, scroll down to '10th Anniversary'. For example in this mission there is an achievement for destroying all zerg structures. They are all for normal difficulty so may be a good challenge to do on brutal.
This is definitely one of the easier missions, but there are some ones you'll probably get some challenge from toward the end of the campaign. Nightmare difficulty is actually quite tough throughout, and it's probably best to play through the full thing on Brutal before giving it a go so you know what the mission objectives are in advance and can hit the ground running. The SC2 campaign is definitely one of the best RTS campaigns, and of the ~100 missions across all the factions, they somehow give each one its own distinct flavor. I replay it pretty much every time a new campaign mod comes out, and there are still new ones coming out from time to time.
Just in case IL repeat : If it's too easy for you :) , try the moebius campaign on maximum difficulty (it's basically Terran Campaign but with a bunch of new additions), it's a ton of fun, and brings a next level challenge, every mission on the campaign is enhanced with new mini challenges, new upgrades etc.
21:38, yeah, you can also play him as commander in Coop missions. He's later been stranded in some terrazine (the purple vespene) rich planet, and made himself a mecha-zerg army with some Terran and Protoss techs incorporated (so his faction is basically zerg++). You've probably also seen the mecha-zerg skins on multiplayer as well in the ladder.
Do the stupid stuff! Try out and enjoy the campain your way I guess 90% of the viewers know the story allready so the fun is to see you experience it your way :) And yeah you should absolutly play the "Nightmare MOD" for a Challenge in the second run :) first run is just for story and so you know the missions a little bit ^^ I'm looking forward to see you play the nightmare Mod and the rest of this one, keep up the good work!
Nightmare difficulty mod is definitely the one to try if you want a big challenge. For most people it's probably best to play through brutal first. However, you're not most people. Pig beat Nightmare difficulty - granted, he had played the campaign, but it was so long ago that he didn't remember the missions much, and he still managed. It would be an understatement to say that you're better at terran than Pig, so I bet you could handle it and it would be a challenge for you. You'd need to start the campaign over again though.
Why does gabes streams and videos feels like the most chill content in starcraft😄 . Btw who even needs turret dps when you have tanks? Bunkers are only for taking damage i guess, so i would also take hp.
HP is the 'optimal' choice for the bunker, and it's something that you do use quite a lot more than in multiplayer. But at the same time the campaign is quite easy even for a plat scrub like me, so I doubt it will affect someone who's actually good at the game like Gabe.
You should also check "10th anniversary" section of the achievements menu: they've added one difficult achievement for each mission, it would be cool to complete them too.
Reapers in wol is insane, they have 30 dmg vs buildings, bonus vs light and they should be rly good in second mission of dr hanson where you can build reaper in bunkers, they better then marines in bunkers, because of better range
If you want to try stupid stuff, remember that you can save the game before jumping in. And load back if you get wiped out. That way you don't have to replay the entire mission. Also there is one small spoiler you need to know. There is a hidden objective in the mission where you unlock the Thor. Don't finish that mission without finding ... something ... You will know. It's very missable and it unlocks something cool.
12:35 Stupid stuff are the fun of it. What's the fun of watching a pro gamer playing through the campaigns for the first time, if he's going to do purely vanilla stuff? But don't go overhead, if you don't want to need restarting missions every now and then. BTW, as someone else mentioned, the 10th anniversary achievement for this mission, is to "Destroy all Zerg Structures in the "The Evacuation" mission on Normal difficulty.", so if you had got a bit cocky, it'd have definitely payed off.
Hello HeroMarine, after seeing your "stupid" smash & grab mission gameplay, my playstyle in that mission has been transformed from "turtling 14 min then trash the protoss" to "trash zerg base first in about 14 min + take ALL THE RESOURCE of the Zerg base + build bunker to seal zerg base + build bunkers to seal zerg side protoss entrance + slowly get the mission done with no worry about zerg whatsoever" 🤣🤣🤣
I think u loaded a wrong savefile cuz u did collect 4 protoss relic on the mission before this one (the one in which u unlock marauder) u can get it back by just replaying it offscreen (any difficulty can wotk) u can do so by going to the bridge and clicking on the computerscreen on left of the screen. Also for protoss research get the attack speed one since its very good in comparion to HP
I think you haven't tried the mercenaries yet and that's why you're not investing in them. Get some warpigs from the merch compound and you'll see what a Hero Marine in game is XD
I can't imagine you struggling with the campaign at any point, but maybe some achievements will be harder for you than others. I just want to see pro fail a pve thing lol
We have seen the campaign many times. Just do the stupid stuff. It’s more fun. We know you can beat the missions flawlessly, you don’t have to prove that
You forgot abot mercs, elite marins for 250 minerals, instantly!
Good job Gabe
haha made me go back and play again one of my favorite campaigns!
There's an extra achievement for each mission also. In the 'Achievements' tab, scroll down to '10th Anniversary'. For example in this mission there is an achievement for destroying all zerg structures. They are all for normal difficulty so may be a good challenge to do on brutal.
Я зайшов в розділ коментарів, щоб написати це, але ти встиг раніше. Треба щоб він побачив це.
Hello mister TH-camr streamer sir, I’m a commenter commenting under your Videos. I’m also watching the videos. Have a nice day
You should click on the tv in the cantina, the news are quite funny

Oh, there are campaign mods? Gotta check this out.
Yes!
Can't wait for more of these campaign videos!

pro campaign gamer
Let's go Nightmare difficulty. It's really interesting to play and watch, and of course difficult)) Brutal difficulty for kids)

I fully agree, if he likes doing silly stuff, give it a try. Heck sometimes it may work.
hab die Kampagne zigmal durchgespielt, auch auf Brutal und dennoch hab ich sehnsüchtig auf den nächsten Teil gewartet xD
17:43 ROFL... That's the killer bane... If your truck has been destroyed, and the civilians are just walking, it just kills them all in one blow 🤣
Nice presentation
Great series so far, need more missions.
I see if you are busy, but can we get new episodes a little more often?
Next week will probably be Wednesday - Friday - Sunday releases
Love the campaign videos!
20:30 yes this is the guy from Coop... before the terazzine gets to him
@16:35 For the chalange aspect.. try the NIGHTMARE mod for the campaigns.

Solltest die Videos in der Kampagnen-Playlist sortieren 👍

Interestingly, the campaign early missions give you 1 vespene geyser instead of 2 which slows your tech to a crawl.
You should also check "10th anniversary" section of the achievements menu: they've added one difficult achievement for each mission, it would be cool to complete them too.
They are not difficult. I'd say they are more fun or creative
@@vancrite7526 For evacuation that's straight up "destroy every Zerg building", so it depends
@@faberion2258 it requires normal difficult
@@faberion2258 you should check Specialist's achievements
@@vancrite7526I meant getting them on Brutal - that would be a cool challenge)
you can always save, then do stupid stuff knowing you can reset
Reapers in wol is insane, they have 30 dmg vs buildings, bonus vs light and they should be rly good in second mission of dr hanson where you can build reaper in bunkers, they better then marines in bunkers, because of better range
This guy has decent micro, who knows maybe he can try his chances in the pro scene some day.
If you want to try stupid stuff, remember that you can save the game before jumping in. And load back if you get wiped out. That way you don't have to replay the entire mission.

yooo full hd 8k graphic settings, nice
There are 10th anniversary achievements and also master achievements for more challenges

23:23 How come he has only 1 protoss research? he gathered all 4 relics in the mission where u unlock the marauders
I took a screenshot for a Thumbnail, I guess I loaded the wrong load file
I think u loaded a wrong savefile cuz u did collect 4 protoss relic on the mission before this one (the one in which u unlock marauder) u can get it back by just replaying it offscreen (any difficulty can wotk) u can do so by going to the bridge and clicking on the computerscreen on left of the screen. Also for protoss research get the attack speed one since its very good in comparion to HP
Yes sir yes sir
but I definitely think doing stopid stuff is fun and should be done :P
I think you haven't tried the mercenaries yet and that's why you're not investing in them. Get some warpigs from the merch compound and you'll see what a Hero Marine in game is XD
btw get repear next they're kinda broken
the campaign is not meant to mirror the multiplayer versus mode.
all campaing got like 60+ missions, and it took around 180 days to complete with nowadays speed
If you want more challenge after you finish the campaign you can try nightmare mode. But its a struggle xD
and requires more knowledge of the missions
Hey Gabe, you're gonna miss a good bit of the story if you dont talk to people on the Hyperion and dont watch the news
Try to go through the difficulty of nightmare later, it will be much more fun :)
I can't imagine you struggling with the campaign at any point, but maybe some achievements will be harder for you than others. I just want to see pro fail a pve thing lol
We have seen the campaign many times. Just do the stupid stuff. It’s more fun. We know you can beat the missions flawlessly, you don’t have to prove that
dont do stupid stuff but hug pikachu at the start of every video
the turret one is really bad. it's like the dps of a single marine without stim.
Ye, + 200 hp bunker more important
I would rather watch you doing somewhat silly stuff like killing the Zerg bases than focusing on the achievements.
Yeah some cutscenes aren't fitting at all.
Is this all you gonna do with your life
