Appreciate your efforts, I was getting mad about maven dependencies in every testng tutorial :) Now I think I can use Maven instead of downloading jar files :)
Very nicely explained....However , Just a small doubt. As you told that before Maven if we have some requirement then we need to install all those jars on eclips and after Maven we are getting those Jars from Maven repo. So whats the difference in this. Like in terms of performance storage etc. Please make me clear.
The last part is interesting that we can have local repository. How do that happens. is there a video for that ? like how do we tell maven where it should look for locally ? for example by default it looks at maven central repository, how can we tell for look at some local things like in some local website of a company. could you please cover that. This was good video too
I really appreciate your efforts Naveen.Your explanation is very helpful..I have a doubt:Does one require to download maven jar files and configure in environment variables or only plugin download will do ?
thank u for these info this is very useful to us i want to know if we are using maven repository then we no need to use another repository like github svn cvn etc

Hi Naveeen sir, everything working in eclipse but when i am going to run maven from command prompt it not working even i set up the path step by step as MAVEN_HOME AND M2 in system variable but while checking mvn -version it showing C:\Users\Sasmita>maven -version 'maven' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Plz help me still two days i tried to rectify but i am failed.
Open the command prompt on your local machine and see what is the default path it's showing like let say I login to system with user as Rakesh then my path would c:/users/Rakesh .. and copy the maven into that location... Then it will work.. if you still not get the solution then ping me to this number if it's urgent 9052557026
