Right hand is used for right side zieman test so left hand is used for left side or is it right hand only

Left hand for right hernia.
For left hernia, if you can go to left side of the patient, use right hand.
If cannot , use left hand for left hernia.
Purpose is not to obstruct the examiner’s view.
