The part with Arsenio Hall hitting and fussing that guy out with that little gun always had me laughing with tears. I still die laughing till this day on that scene even when they were chasing Eddie Murphy's character in the car chasing scene, Arsenio and the other comedian with him (I cannot remember his name) didn't disappoint at all. I love that movie.

i watched Harlem Nights a few days ago cracking up laughing and plan on watching Life again soon. some of the same actors. Eddie is comedic genius for these. but yeah i don't think this guy watched the movie lol
Loved that movie. Some movies you just never forget. U can still recall them 30 or 40 years later. One thing. That makes me sad is that we are losing so many of our beloved stars so fast now. It's so hard to believe that our beloved Tina Turner is no longer with us. At least we have our memories of those who have left us. It still doesn't seem real that Whitney Houston Michael Jackson and Prince are gone. I don't think we will ever stop missing them. When those 3 died I believe the world got a little bit colder. R.I.P to all our beloved stars who have left us and thank you for coming our way.

So many classic lines spawned from this. so underrated n next to coming to America 1, this for me was number 2. come on , who was thinking of a sketch of an old black woman street fighting and winning against a much younger opponent then escalating it in a comedic way in 1989??? Nobody! So much stuff was absolute genius. the banter, the curse out scene, even the racism was made to be funny…I want that Eddie Murphy back….not the one Disney ruined.

I ❤ feathers and fring clothing...high satin gloves etc...My God mother b4 she died told me her older sister used to go out and hang however her attire was the flapper girl look. I didn't know that.
