This is a video on how to fix a 2 Def Pure/3 Def Pure - you aren't going to get your pure back, but you will modify the account to make another pking build. If you would like to see another episode make sure to leave a like and maybe even a comment if you aren't a shy weasel.
This one took a few extra days to get out due to editing it in a fashion where the video can be timeless; I like taking my time!
I try new techniques with EVERY EDIT - and I mean that - I truly do hope y'all enjoy the progression in both the series AND the editing adventure - I still have a LONG way to go and I do not really have anyone doing this with me, so I teach myself and essentially learn from trial and error + motivation from others.

i like how u fully quested this as well. most important for 20/25 def are
addy gloves, initiate, mith defender, and myreque questline up to taste of hope for 20 def quested + the spec bar staff if you want, the slayer helm is also good for risking or for clanning/portal as well as pvm. the fairy rings are a bonus unlock to access pvm/skilling teles which makes the account more mainable if you decide to grind it out. the good thing is this account isn’t hard to quest as the reqs are pretty low and even pushing all the way to sins of the father isn’t hard at all, you unlock blood shard afk farming if you do that, as well as sepulchre if you decide to get black graceful.
U really know ur stuff! i didnt know sins of the father unlocked blood shards and sepulchre haha 🤷♂️ ill probably snag a mithril defender but tbh I like bringing a amulet of str switch over that since its essentially an amulet of torture (and its like 2k lol)
hypes up how much magic attack bonus mystic gives then as soon as he gets avandis flail "however magic attack accuracy is so scuffed in this game that it almost doesn't matter"

With 25 def you can wear frog leather range gear, it has good mage bonus, and you can wear fashion scape gear aswell. I would def go for the 25 route and 70 prayer if your maxed
70 def without piety? What the helling lol. I do find the frog armor rather interesting. I dont think theres much added for 25 defence than the frog top, though, so not really worth the elbow grease

Oh man this kinda makes me nervous but excited at the same time. To be honest I always wanted to make a rune glove pure (34 def i believe) - I guess this should be an interesting year, then!
I own and have own many account builds over the years. I love 25 def and 20 def but both builds differ a bit. 20 def is a very fun build and quite useful, the 60 attack version is a beast at BH and the 75 attack version is a 1 def pure on steroids, slotting into nearly the same bracket but being tankier and more offensive with mystic robes. you do get a studded body but I personally don’t bring it in the wildy, the mystics are a huge upgrade as is. the 20 def pure with 75 attack maxes around 92/93 cb if you keep 52 prayer and is right around the peak of the max pure / zerk bracket. its very versatile. 25 def will have you max at 94, same as a zerker, and adding more prayer will push you to 96, or 98 cb if u also add 80/82 attack. you get infinity robes/boots and the frog top, which is a budget ranger’s tunic and the infi is great fashionscape / slightly better. downside is you are high 90s cb and are now in med level / 75 zerk bracket and will likely have harder fights, you will fight a lot less pures. i think 20 is perfect for a pking build but 25 is more for clanning or pvm, it may be viable in deep wildy for fun or if you decide to fully max the account with 99att/pray to use as a clanner/flex acc, but it serves a completely different purpose
also an update on prayer. 60 prayer for chivalry has been proposed as an unlock for pures and zerks so 60 will likely be the new meta, all builds remain the same except add +1 cb for the higher prayer to lvl 60 (or 65 to add 3rd age at no additional combat gained since 60 is already an extra cb over 52/55/59). at 60 att thats 84 for pures, 95 zerk. at 75 att thats 89 pure, 100 zerk. 20 def will be 88 cb 60 att, 93 cb 75 att

also an added tip to anyone considering 13 def. its good too, but lacks the oomph of 20 def with mystic robes and though you gain a few less cb lvls, salads arent good since the nerf and aren’t as worth it. its good for low cb 60 att or for unlocking pvm gear without gaining too many cb lvls but 20 def is ❤
Well put - I went from 72 cb to 77 but its not a big deal because im always deep wild and fight anyone (as seen in vid) + its literally still in the same bracket (when ur a “baby” pure. The green robe buff was pretty sad to see - its nearly the same as ghostly 👎 used to be lit

I respect that - the only issue is that I already have a nearly maxed zerk + 20 def pking with a prodded acc is super fun; the acc is a beef ball - you wouldnt wanna run into it on ur baby pure unless ur a god
That's the problem with the wildy.. it's the same old prodded account builds and no variety. Luckily jagex is changing up the meta soon.
I dont see too much of an issue with the prodded lower combat builds because it typically stems from low hp. If you are willing to trade in health for more damage potential then its fair trade
i enjoy pking on my 20 def a lot. at 92 cb it fights the same ppl a max 75 att 88 cb pure does, but the mage bonuses from mystics and added tankiness make it way tougher in a fight, it stands up to voiders a lot more easily and can escape meds if it gets hit at the caves easier. the acc has an advantage over 1 def where u can win a fight even with bad rng just bc outlast damage, and more importantly, pures are way more willing to fight a 20 def over a zerk or voider, which most pures just avoid bc they get outclassed.
