I can remember going into the Robert Taylor Projects with Chicago Outreach (Gary Grogan) and New Hope Christian Center (Dan Taylor) and a gang leader was shot and killed prior to the big crusade we were planning. Out of fear of gang retaliation, the police canceled the meeting and we put something together back down at the church yard. But first, we began to go invite people from the projects, and the brother of the man who was killed, came to Christ.
