First time I heard this song was at a worship night in Dallas. I knew, as these words were sung over so many in the concert hall, that the words were so relevant and timely. The imagery that this song depicts has such power! :)
Psalms are full of emotional outpourings of the writer's hearts toward God. Worship is an expression of our hearts to God - it's rarely used as an evangelistic tool - it is between our heart and God's heart.
Johannes trusting in Jesus walking in faith is the rest we all long for, but few I have known accept the security our Heavenly Father has offered. Replacing the man Jesus with an idol of stone that does not know before we ask what we need. There are offerings of self sacrifice and diligence known as religion activities that replace the power of the Holy Spirit of God with good works. The war waged by humankind to overcome evil is self centered and seldom the activity of acceptance of God's provision. There is peace, joy love, security accepting that Jesus has accounted for all good and evil practiced by man. He proved His worthiness by being raised from the dead and placed on that throne prepared for Him...I rest in the understanding He is a man, who is God in the flesh preparing a place for me...how about you?
who's the fantastic lady on Back up vocals? Man! she's been doin a great job. Saw her in a lot of videos:) Anyone please give her name? awesome awesome lady:)
He's coming on the clouds Kings and kingdoms will bow down Every chain will break As broken hearts declare His praise For who can stop the Lord Almighty Our God is a Lion The Lion of Judah He's roaring with power And fighting our battles Every knee shall bow before Him Our God is a Lamb The lamb that was slain For the sins of the world His blood breaks the chains Every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb Every knee will bow before Him Open up the gates Make way before the King of Kings The God Who comes to save Is here to set the captives free For who can stop the Lord Almighty
We typically do the Big Daddy Weave version at my church, so I normally do octaves. I would play it like this with single notes if we ever did this version and just leave out the lower part.
Got ya! We do a hybrid mix of the Leeland and the Weave version. LOL I'm the only guitarist so I have to change my normal approach to all the guitar parts to try and get the best of everything going on in some of these songs.
Our God has the strenght of a Lion and the sweetness of a Lamb ! All Glory to him!!!
Can you imagine going into a church with these guys start playing
you'd think you where in heaven already
Amazing talent 🙏
I feel the presence of God when I listen to this song I love it to worship him and feel so close to Jesus
His blood breaks the chains! That's my favorite line in the song
Jesus Christ I come to you now with all my shortcomings. Accept me Lord. For you are the shepherd of the lost lamb.
I love this song so much. Praise and worship to the Lamb, Savior of the world. Praise Jesus!!

Does Jesus really need this emotional music to reach out to people?

Complete Lyrics?
He's coming on the clouds
Kings and kingdoms will bow down
Every chain will break
As broken hearts declare His praise
For who can stop the Lord Almighty
Our God is a Lion
The Lion of Judah
He's roaring with power
And fighting our battles
Every knee shall bow before Him
Our God is a Lamb
The lamb that was slain
For the sins of the world
His blood breaks the chains
Every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb
Every knee will bow before Him
Open up the gates
Make way before the King of Kings
The God Who comes to save
Is here to set the captives free
For who can stop the Lord Almighty
Why don't u look them up on youtube
This is some pretty terrible editing. The guitar player is playing the best part of the song and you show a close up of the drummer..
I agree. You must be a guitarist too. LOL
Yes, but even if I wasn't this is still really bad.
How do you play this part? Do you play the melody using octaves or do you just pick single notes?
We typically do the Big Daddy Weave version at my church, so I normally do octaves. I would play it like this with single notes if we ever did this version and just leave out the lower part.

You do realize that Isaiah 11:6 says wolf and Lamb right. This is a Mandela Effect.
MoneyBags73 Revelation 5:5-6.
But the Mandela Effect is fascinating btw.
Jesus is not the wolf and the lamb, he's the lion and the lamb in one person... book of Revelation
