Really enjoyed this video. We did New Zealand on Celebrity Solstice February 2020 and are due to do almost the same cruise on HAL Noordam in Feb. and your views and tour of the ship gave us happy memories and give us a preview of our trip.

You may or not know the mast on the headland at 16.30, is from the 1st HMAS Sydney, the RAN cruiser which sunk the German Cruiser Emden in 1914. Australian and all foreign Naval vessels are required to present honours to the HMAS Sydney mast when passing it.

How many ports did you have to tender to get off the ship?

Only 1 Gisbourne as Bay of Islands would have been but cancelled due to weather
