I don't think he realized he only had 14 when he was choosing to add the last three cards in from the sb. Yeah those cards should have been lands. Next Edge lesson should be on how to make sure to check your land count before submitting your deck. 😜
Yeah, I was a little puzzled by this as his first card is a X spell thus you want to be running as much lands as possible as he alluded to. Yeah, as the other poster mentioned, textbook case to show people why you need to count your lands before submitting
He took out the islands & just didn’t replace them… With the game smoothing you can probably play 15 lands all the time! He is was pretty fortunate here with just 14 but you get a lot more action throughout the game… 17 is the norm because you DO want to be able to play our spells as LSV often says & often times you are pitching some of those extra lands late game for costs or effects or even just manifesting them over a spell.
When he was checking a website for the land math does anyone know what website is good? For statistics and color saturation. I’m new to the draft format after playing mainly pioneer so I’m trying to learn limited. Any help is appreciated
New meta: 14 lands, on the draw. Works every time.
PLAYS 14 LANDS, SKILLFULLY MAKES ALL THE LAND DROPS
wth must be nice to be a pro I guess
Its well known wizrads gives rigged accounts to pros.
Just finished the deckbuilding. 14 lands was a bold move.

"Not now babe, Duke just dropped an inncuous rat"
Am i missing something or is he running 14 lands?
Nice to see some Reid content
I've got the online qualifier on arena this weekend. Watching this was definitely helpful! Thanks Mr. Duke!
I want these on my desk DAILY

No hand smoothing in bo3.
The ding at 5:56 sent me lol
I see reid, I click
Went straight to the end when I saw you were playing 14 lands.
With 14 lands you have a 50% chance of drawing 4 lands by turn 4 on the play.
Well not good enough. Even tho your odds are slightly better on the draw
what was your second to last pack 3 card pick? it seems to have skipped it after editing maybe.

Almost certain he was checking for card stats, not land math.
The site is 17lands.
Also what’s the norm for a 40 card draft list?
Whatever you want to draft
Wtf is going on, he’s playing 14 lands and drawing a gd amount of lands lol. I play 17 and always seem to get screwed half the time 🤣
How much removal is too much removal? 😂
