the air vent reason is a head shaker. Most if not all vehicles have adjustable/directional vents. The volume knob on the center screen looks like an afterthought. It's just...there sticking out like a sore thumb. The rear seats when folded up and back. The support bars don't tuck away enough.
People: “we hope the hr-v comes with more horsepower in the future. 145hp does the job, but it should have more for a modern car.” Honda: “we’ve heard your feedback and have decided to lower the HP in the new model. You’re welcome.” Guess I’ll just go for a civic hatch then

Really interesting design, especially the interior. I agree, the cup holders by the gearstick maybe could have been rounded and also have a roller fitted. I also like where the hazard light button is situated. Very interesting 😊👍

Penso que o porta malas seja pequeno por conta das baterias. Com o motor a combustão deve ganhar uns 100 litros de capacidade. Aí fica com um tamanho decente!
It absolutely boggles the mind that Honda decides to NOT bring the redesigned 2022 HR-V to North America (the so-called "2022" models sold in NA are nothing but carry-overs from 2021).

Exterior looks attractive. But interior, comparing to new Nissan Qashqai, looks not so cool. No head-up display even as an option (Qashqai has it). Partial virtual cockpit, though Qashqai has it fully, without analog gauges. Old-school gear shift lever vs modern in Qashqai. Probably, no/basic LED lights in cabin. I also wish HR-V has more power. HR-V 130 hp vs Qashqai 158 hp vs Mazda CX-30 180 hp. Imo, with such specs HR-V must cost less than competitors. I'm looking forward to see test drive on autobahn and noise isolation check. I have purchased Honda hrv 2019 the passenger side can't move back more on seat still small for guys tall 6.5 on the height..so I wished they'd make new one 2022 can move more on the seat not enough room put stuff inside next to you..the compartment not enough space ..so I think my next car going be Lincoln or others car seat more comfortable.
Great looking little SUV, but this thing costs £31,000 in the UK. Holy crap, I knew car prices were rising but this is insane. And no panoramic glass roof nor 4x4 option like they have over in Japan lol.
Thanks for a good review. However, it is a hybrid and the one thing you did not mention was the paddles on the steering wheel. These are rather important! They give 4 different levels of regen for the battery. Simulating engine braking. Also, Why did you not show the boot with the back seats down? I ordered My HR-V e:HEV on the 13th August and await it's arrival eagerly, Having had the U.K. dealer launch on the 24th September (at my dealer- dates varied) You asked for comments re the grille. On first seeing it I thought 'FUGLY'!, Having seen in the flesh it is growing (very slowly!!) on me.I still think it lets the whole look of the car down. You can order the car with a 'proper' grille but at £550 EXTRA.Honda can take a hike on that! I am just glad I can't see it when I will be driving it and I shall avoid ever walking round the front of the car!!! ;-)

this is the new generation 2022 model for Europe, but maybe the US will also get something similar, best to ask the local dealership they should have more info
HRV 2021 SE owner here, love anything new here but the exterior, seems so boxy and not sleek like the previous also how about the road noise? had to replace the tires with michelin primacy 4 (the default is turanza er 300) and put serious sound proof materials all over the car to prevents ear damage from all that noise.

Looks a bit like a Porsche Cayenne which is great! MY current unit is a HRV 2016 and i like this upgrade.
Front profile of a Tucson, rearend of sn sld Lexus SUV or Ford Edge and the price tag of a BMW. Off my radar now.
