Thank you for this....trying to get into competitive handling, and there's a major entry barrier for a new (but not young) captain. ...crewing to try to get basics down, but at my age, everyone expects me to be in charge or at least know what I'm doing.
Matt (or anyone!), do you know what happened to the topping lift at 1:53 and 3:30? Is it on a continuous line that permits the bowman to unclip it from the pole and just let go of it so that it snaps back against the mast? I thought most bowmen would have to re-clip the topping lift to the mast ring as its upwind stowage point.
