If Jesus, the Son of God is the "Captain of the heavenly armies" - I find out of place for any christian to call himself a General... we can't be above Him!
I wish people - Christians - would seek the Lord in prayer and find out what He thinks before giving opinions, or naming themselves "Generals". If He lives in us, He must lead everything, that is if He really owns us. We are to deny ourselves, die to our carnality which includes "wanting to be somebody of importance". The self must be dead, crucified. My opinion is irrelevant (as yours). What matters is His opinion, and that is what I expressed. Please, humble yourself and seek His Presence and find out what He thinks before defending something with your carnal reasoning and wisdom. Simply ask Him, but empty yourself of your desires, ideas and carnal thinking, or what you will hear will be your own thoughts.
We should remember what our Lord Jesus said in Luke 17:7-10. We must allways think of ourselves as "unworthy servants" because that is what each of us is, no matter the work He sends us to do. The power, the authority, the results - all are His. He doesn't need us, really. May the Lord bless you.
