Im playing d2 lod on patch 1.4 on an old laptop and its still insane. Very funny running through the game yelling at demons and undead until theyve had enough
I'm at nightmare diablo and I have been farming nightmare for so long trying to get Insight and Spirit bases... Used socket quest for one and just accidentally vendored it to Akara, deleting it forever lol. Kinda ready to give up this blows
Have you seen the video about the "disturbing lore of diablo2" (i think thats what it's called) where the TH-camr goes thru all of d2 but talks to every single NPC in between every quest. It is 6 hours long but absolutely captivating. Its hard to explain in a comment but its quite good to listen to at work.
I like to add a few points into leap so you can jump into a pack create a knock back stun then spam war cry, using leap to get me out of trouble. I put a point into Concentrate for single target.
I wanted to make a melee barbarian, but if THIS is 10 times faster, I don't want anymore. Edit: that 27% FCR was priceless, laughed way too much, thanks for it, lovely.
So glad I chose the singer barb on my return from my year+ long hiatus from D2R. I'm going full HC now, and I've never played the singer barb build and I feel really, really extra safe doing so now. I'm actually playing online, but for the most part keeping to my own games. It's a little slower as I can't go /players X for the extra loot, but on the other hand I can trade (or beg) for that missing gem, rune or item :) Thanks for the videos Llama, coming back to D2R from D4 is like washing my mouth out with the freshet mouthwash after eating some really bad seafood...:) P.S. Dear MrLlamaSC this is probably my first comment on one of your videos - i love this series of guided playthrough cause i always avoided playing barbarian - i tried as a child and failed back in the days the barb when i had absolutely no clue how to get through nightmare or hell cause it sucked so hard when you are melee and "character optimization by watching pro guys" was not available cause YT was not invented xD well now i followed your guide on this barbarian guide and it convinced or lured me to buy D2 Resurrected - it was 50% off so why not follow your guide and get rid of these child nightmares, right?! One thing i need to critizise: I would love to see more or hear more of the rune words explained in detail (maybe in the comment section linked?) what to use and why because the random loot is killing me... you got that nice gloves in normal mode but how can i craft myself decent gloves? Dont get me wrong it was no big deal for me to get AS gloves and flail these bosses to death but showing some horadric cube stuff even in normal (if it makes sense) would have helped... FYI i finished my singer barb as Level 37 and had to fight a hard long battle on Baal cause i got no legendary mace with crushing blow.. any suggestion how to get such a good item as you got your hands on it would have helped cause of course you rely on the loot you got ... i was only lucky to get legendary boot with "leap 2" for my barb and these boots i wear till end of normal mode. Even though they gave it buff damage and buff mana cost, it still doesn't live up to what was expected the first time I tried it. It's not totally useless, but it's still pretty weak, it would give him another damage buff and a range buff.
Curious, why never change merc from norm to nm holyfreeze? Only guess is cause you keep mobs stunned always as singer so better w/ blessed aim for mercs ar?
3 questions, you got your 2 spirit from the cows level and then the socket quest from act 5, but where did you get your first one? And also, how did you get that 4 socket Scythe? And why did you not change your merc in nightmare?
Sing barb seems fun.. nightmare seems ok but will it suffer in hell? Btw, how to add 5 stat points per click after respec? I know "shift" is put all remaining point, that's y so far each time I respec I click 100~200 times to str/dex before I shift lump all into vit...
Mr Llama!!! Have you ever considered a "tiny house" ??? I couldn't tell you price ranges, but cheap(er) and low maintenance. Get a small land plot and have your own GG interwebs installed. It's what I plan to do some day
Game is 40$ so... let's say 20 slots should be half (still half price instead of paying again for game and having to shuffle 2 accounts) so 1$ per slot... in packs of 5 slots for 5bucks... I would be kinda ok with that. That being said I would rather have same thing with stash - 5 stash tabs for 5$... I would buy like 10 packs :P
You can only find it on Nightmare or above. If you want to have one before going to Nightmare, you need to farm a plain white crystal sword specifically only from Normal Cows, and then use Larzuk's socket quest on it. A 4os crystal sword will never drop in any area in Normal.
why dont you make 1 characters on 1 account get them through he'll with your streaming and then donate the character? I want to re-start plating but I just don't want to spend 2 week getting to hell
you can easily get to hell in a single day with any char, maybe 2 if you're taking it slow :) 2 weeks gets you up to 90+ with pretty decent gear, ready for ubers.
dear mrLlama, I'd suggest you not to buy a house in this overly price manipulated market. wait another 1-2 years until the matrix (the slave system we call society) collapses and you can get housing for cheap. meanwhile investing into physical precious metals is probably your safest bet as the new financial system will be backed by those again.

Man the damage difference going from whacking dudes to hollering at them. It's night and day. I feel like 1 to 30 is longer than 98 to 99 sometimes.

4os crystal/broad swords just drop all the time in A1 nightmare for me.
People value them but really it's just because everybody skips A1 nightmare.

after normal, crystal swords when socketed by Larzuk will have 5 or more sockets, but long- or broad swords will get 4
