Fun fact! The one you got in Hawaii was a ripened coconut, brown= ripe. The juice is more bitter but the meat is sweeter! And the one you got at the Bahamas was a like mid ripe coconut, the juice was sweet because the coconut has had less time to develop and the juice hasn’t been there too long. But the meat will be bitter because it hasn’t ripened! Also another thing, coconuts have kind of 3 layers. The husk, the shell and the meat (not sure if that’s what their called but you get the idea) for the Hawaii coconut it had the husk off, hense why it’s so small.
