I got one. It's very disappointing I suppose if you don't get your unit for free and get paid by Nebula. It has a A52 cortex vs the A55 on the capsule 3 and it shows in the sluggishness in the interface.
I'm a bit confused with your review. It's advertised as a "truly outdoor projector" review that you've NOT actually reviewed outdoors 😕. Pretty uselss if someone is trying to figure out its suitability for real outdoor use. I was really keen to see how good it performed in daylight. Most of the info you've highlighted here I could get directly from their spec sheet.
I have been looking fort a DLP Short Throw projector for dome time to watch movies and sports on the Patio. Was veering towards the XHMI Horizon at 849, but this review has made me re-think. Great video and thanks.
Truly outdoor projector but was expecting to see how it displayed outdoors. Maybe I missed it or did outdoors mean it's just a bit more robust but is for indoors only really?
Cool item. I’d wait for 4K at that premium price point. I have a cheapie 1080p projector I’m planning for camp trips right now. Just can’t leave it in the rain. Lol
Yep, this would be great for $300 or less but not worth the $800-$1000 price point. It would need 4k, 1500 lumens, and at least 120fps for the current price point. Also, for the size, the battery life would need to be at least 6 hours. Overall, it looks like they're on the right track and almost there but this ain't it.
@@jio-lito you should. The hardware is pretty garbage. I just learned it has a worse processor than the capsule 3. No wonder the interface is so laggy.
Hi All, I'm considering purchasing this product as a special gift for my friend's wedding. My plan is to compile a heartwarming surprise video filled with well wishes from those unable to attend the celebration, and I'd love to play it using this item. Additionally, I'm hoping to deliver a personal speech, so I need to find out if there's a way to connect a microphone to this to help with that? Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Other than there not being ANY OUTDOOR reviewing on this video that's titled as a review of an... outdoor projector. Not a bad review if I wanted to know the spec sheet for an indoor projector. Also you didn't cover if it can be used whilst its plugged in to mains power.
Projector The projector is wonderful… at home… with WiFi. We recently went camping. I downloaded movies on Disney+ on my phone, brought my cables to connect, got the kids all set up to watch Star Wars for the first time in the canyon where the first Star Wars was filmed in the California desert. Setting set. Equipment running. Kids and parents jazzed for this moment and……nothing. Not supported. I have Disney app on the nebula. Disney app on my phone. But no way to play the thing. Nebula’s answer….bring a computer without the HDCP restriction. The entire idea behind this projector is the fact that you can take it into the woods and the weather and watch movies. My phone is dust proof and water resistant like the projector. Not my computer. It will not work with my Apple movies that I have purchased and downloaded either. What a waste. What a disappointment. What a total failure to execute on Anker’s behalf.
What do you think of the Mars 3? Would you consider getting one? If you want to check out the latest price. Here's the link seenebula.co/D2333HA5

It’s 1000 lumens it’s not going to be great in daylight for that I’d go with 2500 lumens minimum.
Totally. Actually I can't really find any real testing in the video
Great review troy. I think Anker nailed it✌️
How would this perform in daylight with the ANSI Lumen? Also seeing reviews that Mars 2 and other nebula product fall apart around a year.
Awesome Review Troy!! 👍
Can you use it while it’s plugged in
Exactly what I need an outdoor projector. But I need one for July 4th. What a bummer. Any suggestions?
Hows the noise level? 😊

Is Netflix accessible? I know anker was not allowed to have a direct Netflix app in the U.S. until the Cosmos Laser was released.
It is not. They have a workaround app that only streams in SD and is awkard to use.
@@disciprine Yes, I ended up buying the unit and was not pleased with the quality of the image. I’m returning it.

1080p I’ll bite when we get a 4k thanks for review
Me too. For that price, i find hard to buy it.
How's the input lag for gaming?
Apparently the batter life is only 2hrs at its max brightness which is kinda dissapointing.
Is it a laser or led?
Laser

Perfect to play videos on buildings :)
