This is great footage! First time I went, I got past chicken rock and basically just tried to send it straight up the sheer cliff face. Didn't make it more than 15m before I chickened-out and went home. That path on the side makes it way easier, I'm going back to tick this one off!
@@sorrowinchrist3387 I finally did do it recently and it was amazing! The trick is to go with someone who's confident and has done it before - when you're not all in your head and just enjoying it, it's more doable than you might have imagined. ❤
@@naomirobinson3579 WOW you did it!! AMAZING! I have no one to go with sadly :( Its not a popular climb BUT i have done steep climb before. I just have to watch my step doing this. Any tips you can give like the chicken rock? Or track did you record it I wil be doing so. To find out how long it takes to go up. Could I chat with you about this via email or some where else not so public? Be good to have some pointers if any is required? I am part of a group but my group is not going to that climb. :( But if you can do it well it shows newcomer should not have issue. :)
This is the most accurate video depiction of the climb, I did it and halfway through we hit a thunderstorm coming down was one of the craziest first time climbing experiences, would not recommend if you have a fear of heights, however coming down is easier.
