Eclipses are common, but they happen in different places. The next ones that will cross the US is in 2044 (just montana and alberta) and 2045 across the middle of the country so there'll be a 20 year gap until the next one in this region
I wasn’t able to see the full eclipse, but i’m glad others enjoyed it. Can’t wait for another chance for the next total solar eclipse in August 2045. See you guys then.👀🌙
Today, folks, do yourself and everyone else a favor during totality and all the effects… watch and LISTEN. If you’re yelling, whooping, hollering, you may not be fully watching but mostly you’re missing out on what everything sounds like around you.
I was just outside of Hastings Nebraska for this eclipse and it was absolutely breathtaking!! Took one picture of the sky when it was at 100% and it was insane!!e and my pops cried after.. a very emotional moment for us
I have never seen the eclipse in 2017, I was 18 years old that year. Yet I’ve never heard or seen something like this, now I’m 25 and I’m just now hearing about the eclipse and what it is…
I’m confused if it happend in 2017 with no problems everyone is just like woah cool… then why is everyone saying that it is about too be the end of the world
"Baily's beads, OBVIOUSLY named after Fancis Baily" well thanks for making me feel like an idiot, it wasn't obvious at all I've never heard the name bruh
It's hard to believe that over 7 years have passed since the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Today is my one and only chance to see one!
The Mayans would of been making many sacrifices .
They didn't get a heads up too.
😳

I was at my job at 18 when it happened and it was so beautiful first time ever seeing a solar eclipse
Pre pandemic and I was in highschool class of 2019 🫡
That was a once in a lifetime event to here where are 2024 that’s 7 years lol
Lol there’s literally a total solar eclipse about every year and a half

Yeah that was a lot of clickbait lol.
There's one every 2~ years, keep in mind that the next one in the USA is in 2045 though
If you count partial and annular eclipses too, there's one about every 6 months.
You can witness a solar eclipse like by just going to alaska during the 6 months of darkness. It;s the exact same look
2017: what happened?? 2024: ITSSSSSS THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!
Well the world won't end with a bang or a whimper, just complete silence from all the shock.😂
I was in my internship school when I saw the eclipse with my class
It was pretty cool !

Seeing that it looks cloudy here has me more optimistic about being in Texas. Hope it somehow clears up
northern half isn’t looking as bad anymore just a bit cloudy but nothing crazy
Yup. I live upstate NY right In The path of totality and I’m so upset it’s going to be cloudy
The fact it was wider for 2024 is amazing
🙏💝I’m grateful I was here for it in 2017. We didn’t have a good view today 4/8/2024. But it’s still an amazing experience. 🙏💝

Wow looks like night time
Too bad the video cut off the beginning & end of the eclipse. I will keep searching.
I wish I could’ve seen that one but I’ll be here for tmr
I was there to see the 2017 one, my state got it as a total, it looked so cool!
Same, I was in Columbia.
So excited in 2024 in Montreal ❤❤
@ ABC News How exciting! Thankyou for bringing back some incredible footage.
I'll be seeing this from Massachusetts tomorrow.
I'm in Springfield Ma
Will be interesting to see if it stays dark for 2024 and we don’t get sunlight back
I was in Oregon on the coast awesome! I’m in Hawaii now. Saw Mauna Loa eruption. Bucket list, do it!

username checks out…go back to sleep xanny boy. you was zapped on xans in 2017
Yeah, if you can go to the path of totality is 100% worth it, if you can't this time, you'll need to wait until 2045
Beautiful 😍
There is no way the moon moved in downwards, stayed still talking to the sun for a few minutes, then move upwards. This is God's work.
You do know there's a huge distance between the moon and the sun right?
The sun ain't where the moon is
