I would have liked to see an icon for the Lo/Me/Hi power setting on the display. If I select HI and confirm then press the Power function again (ie to check it) it displays Lo and has reverted to Lo. So, I now check the power setting by looking at the signal strength meter. On transmit 3 bars illuminated for Lo, 6 bars for medium and 9 bars for Hi.
I'm sending this thing back....the selectivity is so bad that a local digital tower causes intermittent digital noise from an image or intermodulation. My old Yaesu VX2 and baufeng handhelds don't even do that. This happens on the GMRS channels only which is what I wanted. Also there is an audio peak around 500 hz which is annoying. Too bad since I was getting very good transmit audio reports from it. If you're not near a data antenna farm, it probably would be an ok radio. The beep's lowest setting is so loud that it will be disabled to keep your sanity.
Nice presentation. By the way does anyone knows which is the programming mode for the CAL setting on mini keys?
