Travelled over from Ireland to see them in Glasgow on Wednesday night - AWESOME! Best band on the planet! Wembley looked great - thanks for posting! \m/
This was their best gig I've seen to date! Labrie was on top form with vocals, and Mangini is AMAZING! I was 6 rows in the front, rocking out all night! Seeing this intro again is awesome :D Hans Zimmer
First time i saw DT was at this gig, and i have to say, they are absolutely superb. They were pitch perfect every single time, to the point where you would be hard pushed to tell the difference between this live performance and the studio recording. Mike Mangini certainly exceeded expectations. I will admit i was sceptical, but good God i was wrong! He was fantastic. I will definitley be seeing them again. Still get goosebumps listening to them. They are by far the best band i have ever seen...
Awesome gig. Was really happy with the set list and was unbelievably glad to hear A Fortune In Lies played- my ninth DT gig and I've been waiting all that time to hear that one song played:-)
This was the best show I've ever seen! They were all flawless and I met Misha from Periphery after their set and then Herman Li in the street on the way back xD
Agreed, they're my 2 favourite bands (Periphery are my absolute favourite though), so I was disappointed to see them go a little unappreciated. Still an amazing night for me, I couldn't believe my luck to see my 2 favourites tour together!
Oh man I missed the gig... Damn unemployment :/ Next time I will make up for it by going to multiple gigs and buying a meet n greet since I'm getting a pretty good job soon. Glad you guys all had fun. This looked amazing!
What an amazing gig, even my Dad liked it and he doesn't normally like metal, but he does like prog so maybe not so surprising. The highlight for me was the Spirit Carries On, however, everything was sensational, I better post some of the videos i recorded, it would be a sin not too.
BEST FUCKING GIG EVER i love dream theater literally at the instrumental part of this song i was like nearly crying, i just wished they played an epic (like longgggg song) off one of the other albums like count of tuscany or OCTAVARIUM would of been perfecttttt
@BenEd2 Was indeed brilliant! that is to be expected, 95% of people were there to see dream theater, and obviously supporting bands play before everyone is there and before everyone is buzzed so it isn't that surprising. Though I have to admit I'm really not a fan of periphery, too discordant for my liking. They touch on good elements but waste it on overly heavy segments.
This is actually quite a tragic video these days.... This mix unfortunately seems to be better than the Luna Park DVD one... I can actually hear Jordan all throughout! :-(
Brilliant gig, when a band takes to the stage whilst Hans Zimmer is playing you know you're in for a good night. My only regret is that the crowd were so unresponsive and boring during Periphery's set. They are my favourite band, as much as I love DT I have to admit I went mainly to see Periphery. They put on a hell of a show but 90% of the crowd didn't so much as bat an eyelid :/
@jikarpert haha I should be a Hotel Receptionist soon but I also want to study at uni... I am still figuring out my shit haha either way Dream Theater will have their arses licked by me soon

I had goose bumps watching the intro. The stage lighting looks excellent, the best the band have had, in my opinion.
