McMurtry also runs 7’s
GM New ZR1 should be fast 1064 HP pump gas. Twin Turbo
Rear engine fiberglass body.
Maybe hurt some feelings.
😮😮😮
First of all. The Lucid is not the worlds fastest production eletric car. That title belongs to the Rimac Nivera. Period. It would SMOKE everything. Put $$$. Up on that.
C8ZR1 will be the Lucid's next victim.
HEAT soak sucks on blower cars back to back running . Would love to see a better ice box or real interchiller
Racing a golf cart equipped with a toaster has got to be the strangest thing anyone has ever done.
You driving a gas powered riding mower as a personal daily driver rather than a 5 ton dump truck is the strangest thing anyone has ever done.
@@bobroberts2371 Sit down on your curling iron, simp.
@@bobroberts2371 cope harder
@@strykerentllc YOU are the one driving around in a toy car rather than a liquid fueled 5 ton dump truck ( See how that works? If you can dis one type of car then others can dis yous too )
@@bobroberts2371 Aw, your little feelings got bruised. Cope cope cope.
Comparing apples to oranges. EV vs EV then you’re looking at screaming at yourself again.
ZR1 vs lucid cant wait.
The lucid is cool for an EV not for me i cant afford either car. I like my gas powered cars because i dont have to spend a lot of money to have a fast car have fun. Love hot rods building power is where its at for me. But if i could afford any car made id be buying the new 2025 ZR1 vet.
If money was no object id also buy a lucid has to be awesome feeling that instant torque.
EV's are fast but have no soul
I don't even know what this means. Cars don't have "souls". Only thing that matters is, the lucid.... and even plaid model s have far superior performance. Not only that, but repeatability, and reliability. And lastly, MUCH cheaper to fuel. Gas cars are like windows 95 at this point.
Why do Demonology got a handle on his Demon 170 and kicking everybody a_s and the great Tom Bailey the king of drive and drag struggling
Unfortunately the 170 has zero chance against the toaster on an unprepared surface.
@@danmyers9372 And the 170 got crushed on the prepped surface also.
@pirkkaruuska5766 If you think that race track was prepped, you don't know what to look for.
@Gremlin65 The Demon 170 is marketed as a drag car that can be driven on the street. Hence why it comes equipped with drag radials from the factory. Dodge also claims the times were achieved on a prepped surface. It's a moot point anyway, a rwd ice engine doesn't stand a chance against awd with around the same hp.
It's called engineering. That much power to just the rear wheels will never be actually usable with a front engine rear wheel drive layout.
I knew what the result was going to be before they even raced. These demon 170's were overhyped.
That feeling when you're driving the most hyped musclecar in history then destroyed by grandpa luxury sedan.
thats a pony car dude not a muscle car, muscle cars are mid sized cars with big block engines, not found since 1975, thats a small block engine... corvette zr1 has 1064hp on pump gas, it destroys both of these cars, it can handle and brake too unlike these
The zr1 will lose a drag race to the Lucid too.
@@retrocompaq5212it’s classified as a muscle car. Pony cars are mustangs and Camaros.
I feel like the track hawk would be better of a match
I'm officially a dinosaur!
Electronic will win every time
My '77 K5 Blazer didn't weigh 5300lbs. Holy crap. No wonder the biggest pit falls of EV I's not only the carbon footprint of the battery pack but also the rubber footprint. And, this is our future to lower our carbon footprint. This seems like more of one than a 3200lb drag car running on Nitro-methane. Now I see why Toyota is holding out for Hydogen to take off. Interesting video good educational wise but, so far 34:08 into the video I just get the sense that EV is not what I want for the future. And, my future is at least another 40 plus years being only 43.
Toyota getting sued for Hydrogen cars. Toyota Hydrogen Future Is Crumbling As Owners File Lawsuits ... - InsideEVs
Owners have said online that the real-world range of the Mirai is around 260 miles to a tank of hydrogen, quite a bit less than Toyota's claim of 402 miles.
2021 Tesla already needs a battery, warranty was over by 650 miles, 35,000 dollars for a replacement, 17000 for a used one, can you imagine, having to dump 20 to 30 thousand into a 2 1/2 year old car that was 70 grand new.....INSANITY
Some loud mouth dual motor T owner was saying how fast his car was. This is with a bunch of guys looking on. I told him my 2019 Chevy express 3500 would be him in a race. I bet him a GWhiz. He hesitated in front of all those guys then finally agreed. He had to. So the subject of when and where. I said, now. To Chicago. We were in Boston.
The tires on that car are more toxic then the battery acid that powers it
