I have not been in school for 15yrs. I watched your video and decided to take the test and I passed it on the first try!! It was pretty hard, due to no schooling in years. I read the passages a lot of times to help me understand a bit, and I did exactly what you do, eliminating answers. I seriously did not think that I was going to pass it at all…. Thank you so much! A while back, a girl in my hiset class told me about your videos, so I decided to watch you. You helped me with every subject, especially the essay part of writing and math. I always keep on coming back to your videos just for a refresher, before I go ahead and do my 2nd HiSet practice test in about 1 hr 1/2 . The the first time I was 2 points below the qualification for the actual test but if it wasn't for the proctor rushing me, I would've have likely passed it! Good news is that today I will be having my test with a different proctor who is from the disability assessment center. I'm not a fast learner and I do though, have a disability on my foot but that's not going to put me down! Always going forward. Thanks, Purely Persistent for posting helpful videos. 💯🙂👍

I latterly passed my reading test one day before my graduation. I would say thank you so much Purely Persistent, and my advice to those people who wants get there GED or HISET, just keep practicing, english is not my native language, 2 years ago I came from Afghanistan, that time I was not able to talk any English but after working hard i got my driving license then i started to get my HISET, which I got it 3 days ago. Again thank you Purely, your videos helped me a lot. 😍

My nephew keeps scoring 143 144 he’s right there!! He keeps running out of time, and ends up having rush through answering the questions and obviously not answering them correctly due rushing. Do you have any tips on what he could do to help??

Correct me if I'm wrong, so I can learn from my mistakes, but I thought that the love is blind quote was personification. I thought this because you're giving an inanimate object human qualities/characteristics. And since I see blindness as a human quality I thought that this would make love (something non-human) harnesting a human quality as personification.
You can do this! Just be Purely Persistent!! Also, several of my studies videos will really help you toward your nursing exam and degree. I highly suggest that you look into my video about reading faster and enroll in the program.

I recommend that you SLAAY - Skim, look at the questions, actually read, answer questions, yo check your answers!
