I read the passages a lot of times to help me understand a bit, and I did exactly what you do, eliminating answers. I seriously did not think that I was going to pass it at all…. Thank you so much! I latterly passed my reading test one day before my graduation. I would say thank you so much Purely Persistent, and my advice to those people who wants get there GED or HISET, just keep practicing, english is not my native language, 2 years ago I came from Afghanistan, that time I was not able to talk any English but after working hard i got my driving license then i started to get my HISET, which I got it 3 days ago. I passed the Language Arts test because of your videos on Punctuation and how to pass the Essay! I scored a 13 and minimum score was 8, I though maybe I would score higher on the Essay but I still passed it with a 3 which 2 was the minimum and 6 the highest. You are a Good Woman TY a million times!!
I always keep on coming back to your videos just for a refresher, before I go ahead and do my 2nd HiSet practice test in about 1 hr 1/2 . The the first time I was 2 points below the qualification for the actual test but if it wasn't for the proctor rushing me, I would've have likely passed it! Good news is that today I will be having my test with a different proctor who is from the disability assessment center. I'm not a fast learner and I do though, have a disability on my foot but that's not going to put me down! Always going forward. Thanks, Purely Persistent for posting helpful videos. 💯🙂👍

Correct me if I'm wrong, so I can learn from my mistakes, but I thought that the love is blind quote was personification. I thought this because you're giving an inanimate object human qualities/characteristics. And since I see blindness as a human quality I thought that this would make love (something non-human) harnesting a human quality as personification.

Hello, thank you so much for your videos, i faild in RLA with 1 point i got 144 omg it was so so disappointing. And i now i realize wher i did the mistake.
I’ve taken my Hiset language arts reading test 4 times now. The first two times were back to back and I scored a 4. Then I started watching your videos and I scored a 7 on my third try and a 6 on my fourth try. I feel so discouraged and disappointed. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. Any tips or anything you recommend me doing to help me get a passing score? I am so close to that minimum score of 8.
I’ve passed all of my 4 other hiset exams on the first try with no study guide. I am stuck on this subject, the very last one. I can’t seem to pass it!! 😢
First of all, great job for passing the other HiSET exams! You are rocking this!! Now... the reading... DON'T GIVE UP!! You are soooo close! I recommend two things. 1. Practice reading on this program. My students find that it helps improve their reading skills. I’ve taken my Hiset language arts reading test 4 times now. The first two times were back to back and I scored a 4. Then I started watching your videos and I scored a 7 on my third try and a 6 on my fourth try. I feel so discouraged and disappointed. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. Any tips or anything you recommend me doing to help me get a passing score? I am so close to that minimum score of 8.
I’ve passed all of my 4 other hiset exams on the first try with no study guide. I am stuck on this subject, the very last one. I can’t seem to pass it!! 😢

I recommend two things.
