There is stupid then there is reckless.

Today I surveyed a a beautiful stone built property for damp related issues when rising damp was mentioned is a building survey report. There was some issues with regards to damp but they were caused by the external ground levels having been raised above the original DPC not the lack of a DPC. The fact that the property benefited from a physical DPC at the time of construction did not save it from the clueless damp proofing company.

Hey Neil, I am looking for any work experience or work shadowing opportunities available. Since the pandemic started last year, i have not had the chance to be able to do any practical property inspections and building surveying. This has really affected my studies.
