    I am astounded at your teaching. My my, you’ve got to be one of the best teachers so far. So humble, and logic- oriented. I got what the part I couldn’t grasp for so long in the first 3 minutes itself. May all this effort be rewarded with a bunch of luck! Tremendous job! Thank you so much!

    In the fourth example (at 12:13), I don't understand how you came up with 12/36 when trying to figure out the speed in which "A" could complete 1/36 of the work? Can you explain?

      See if you take 4 days to complete a work how much time would you take to complete 1/2 the work- 4/2 or 2 days right?. Similarly here 1 work is done in 12 days so 1/36 work is done in 12/36 days.

    Can i confirm if 1/36 if the work done remaining multiply by 12 days would be equal to 12/36 why is the unit of measurement 1/3 day?

    A pipe can fill a tank in x hours and another can empty it in y hours. if the tank is 1/3 full, then the number of hours in which they will fill it in is. ?
    can you please explain how to approach this sir?

    • @Examrace
      @Examrace  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure, the capacity of the the tank be C, then rate of filling is C/x and rate of emptying is C/y. If they work together, the net rate would be C/x-C/y. Note that total work required is 1/3C. Thus time = Total work/Rate = (C/3) / [C/x-C/y]. If you solve it, C would cancel from both numerator and denominator.

    8 men and Women problem can be solved even in more simpler ways.
    8M X 20= 8W X 32 = ( 5M + 8W) X N ( WHERE N = NO. OF DAYS REQUIRED)
    M:W = 32: 20 implies 5M= 8W
    THEREFORE PUTTING IT IN ABOVE WE GET
    16W X N = 8W × 32
    THERFORE N =16 .
