Floor Jansen interviewed in Finland, in her new hometown of Joensuu. She talks about her life in there and upcoming new Nightwish album 2015, Endless Forms Most Beautiful. Interview is in English and in Finnish, an new language she is learning. Thumbs up for Floor for learning Tuomas Holopainens and Marco Hietalas and rest of the NW's gang language.

She is such a nice woman,very normal and down to earth.She doesn't have star complex .
I think that she is a very hard worker,and that can be felt in her singing,witch is perfect.
Talent is one thing,and she have it a lot,but nobody can sing like her without lot of work...
She deserves only the best in her work,because she give so much.
Floor is a sweetheart! I love how she tries very hard to learn Finnish as to blend in with the band, living there and all. Such a nice person :D
She actually pronounces Finnish pretty damn well.
She has a voice that other rock singers would kill for, rocks on to heavy metal like no others can, is beautiful, talented and is always happy. I wish her all the best and success with Nightwish. I hope they become an international phenomenon because they are a thousand times better than some bands that pack out stadiums like Bon Jovi (Yuck!) or Van halen (yuck!)....
Floor is the best thing to happen to Nightwish in a long time. Looking forward to the new album!

Finnish becomes much more amusing if you add "perkele" at the end of every sentence.
I absolutely love the emotions Nightwish brings out of me. These guys are literally genius's. Tuomas is so inspiring. Honestly, if you are into Nightwish and symphonic metal i discovered this new band Ascendia. You got to see their newest release. Seriously.

Be prepared to cry, laugh and give up, brother :D Most likely one of the hardest languages to learn without living in the country of this language and actively using the language in your everyday life.
I know that it's a really really difficult language but well... i can't help it but I always want to learn a language when i think that it sounds beautifully. xD

I love this interview. Just that one little thing bothers me =) Perkele is not "son of a bitch", it's "god of thunder". Many Finns seems to think that it means devil, but it's not. Another thing is, that it is just curse word, and that's why it really means nothing. It's often yelled by someone who is pushing real hard, and it's supposed to give you more strength, extra "SISU", guts. It's also used when you kick your toe to table leg...but then you need whole lot more than just PERKELE =)

Tony Montana Anette cared about NW; she just got pregnant and the band didn't want to wait for her. I wonder if the female members are "required" to sleep with the male members of the band at least Tuomas and Marco because there seems to be a lot of drama if they don't get their way. I really hope Floor is treated better than the last two but I don't have much faith.
unokitsune Maybe that was some crazy joke from you, but your comment was also ignorant. Do you really think that it would be easy to move a lot of concerts to some other time? They have other projects and things to do. And, there are always a lot of other people involved in a tour, Anette's behaviour affected them too. She didn't want substitutes for her maternity- and sick leaves and didn't understand how big problems it would cause to the band.
What you said about the guys was only stupid.

@@unokitsune The words Tuomas and Marco used in 2015 before the Tampere concert in relation to Floor - 'She is home, she is really home' tells a lot if not everything.
